Idea: PVE Island available to ALL chapters

I think just another isle in the battle isles chain would be enough.
You could put all those areas in that isle. In the empty space left from the Guild Hall isle and over the Isle of the Nameless, there could be a 'Zaishen Town', an explorable area abailable only to PvE characters, that area culd lead to some outpost, one for Marketing, a Temple for the five gods, and more outpost for all those ideas previously exposed.

The reason for a whole new area for this everyone can get to pve islands and why it cant be added to battle isles, is because everything in the battles isles is PVP related, it woudnt make sense to have something which is meant to be pve on that.
I also wish to add that i dont want to see a pvp arena in this area is this is not related to a pve theme

lol its really annoyed me since i was saying this a month before the halloween event so they make a temp holiday island where everyone could go would be simple and easy and fair... but this ideas alot more improved but im kicking myself for not posting it a month ago

Remember that there are TWO core areas:
- The battle isles.
- The realms of the five gods.
You can make a party in your guild hall with a member of your guild that do not have your same Campaings and play in the areas available to all campaings, because they are CORE.
The realms of the gods are core too.
A Nightfall only character should be able to join a party with a Prophecies+Factions guild member and go to the mists for some action toghether. Regardless of campaings.

We wanted more storage, we got material storage, yes its not what we wanted but it is more storage.

Players wanted more character slots , they said they would even pay for it! And guess what we got, character slots that we can buy.

Ever listen to the interviews with Jeff Strain? All he talks about is releasing new campaigns, never mentions updating areas. He said his team could easily do it, but its not what their about, they want more Campaigns and to NOT update other areas, even if it is an island area outside of the campaigns.
It would greatly connect guild wars, which is feeling more and more "unconnected" with people. But sadly, Anet feels intent on releasing Campaigns, they don't have time for connecting the community.

But I don't like the idea of having an exclusive outpost. The idea of having a PvE central area but having outposts that not everyone can access doesn't make sense to me.

It's an interesting idea, though I'm not sure how Anet would implement such a thing.
If they did there's a good chance it would not house a temple to access UW/FoW and if it did it would still require you to have favor and be in the favored territory to access. The ability to access such areas without needing to have favor for your territory would completely render Temple of Ages, Zin Ku Corridor and Chantry of Secrets useless and empty. The market for items such as Ectoplasm and Obsidian Shards would take a large hit as well with prices dropping to record lows.
As for only having the holiday events there, I don't like that idea for hte simple fact that I enjoy seeing how they create and "celebrate" the different holidays in the different cultures - how its' different in Lion's Arch compared to Shing Jea or Kamadan. If they were to add this I would hope they would not only decorate this area, but continue to do so across the main city(ies) of the other continents.

Same, I have played this game since the Beta's, I have a grand total of 3 fame. I have 2 titles, Tyrian/Canthan explorer at 80%. And Sunspear general only because I need it to progress.

I said this once but i'd like to say it again!
There is one very practical solution to this.
Add quests to battle island that take place on the training island( portals on the training island could take us to other nearby lands) The training island is a fair size place and the quests would be repeatable.
Each quest available would require a mission completion for whatever campain your in. ie for tyria there would be 25quests available.
Party size on battle island would need to be increased and could be pushed up to 12+ forthe end of game lvl quests
I belive this would solve the problem of a central location as well as the lack of things to do once you reach the last mission in your chapter. With all the quests being available at that end of your campain and the ability to join people form other campains and do there quests as well this would keep people playing for a very long time!!

The main PvE city you're talking about will just become Trading central. People will think, Why bother putting it in an auction, where there is a chance some people won't see it, when you can spam it for everyone in the district to hear?
Perhaps, (although I've not really thought out the pros and cons of it), have a city designed for just people wanting to buy/sell/trade, where they can all spam to their hearts contents.
Even better; whenever people type "WTS" or "WTB" In the 'All' channel of any district, they get shunted to trade town :P

Anyway, Definitely /signed for a centralised PvE meeting point. It would be a good place to go for people to advertise for other people to help them in quests in less populated areas; for example people could go there asking for help with Maguuma Jungle quests.

I like this idea. I think someone mentioned shunting WTS/WTB spammers to a trade town, I say boot them. New error code err455 - You have been disconnected from the server for using trade/spamming in the all channel.
Sure people will come up with things that go around the filter, but if you keep updating the filter a good proportion of people will realise that being booted isn't worth their time.

This is definatley a dream though. There's so much happening atm with updates upcoming holiday events etc. that something this large will not happen soon enough. The only way they could possibley handle this is if they incorperated(spelling) it into the next expansion/new expansion update. (like the nightfall skill balancing)

Had an idea like this for awhile. Tried suggesting it when Gaile was in Kamadan but this is a much better way for the devs to see it.
It would be nice to have a center town where a little bit of every chapter moves into to create a really unique look.

I wanted them to add a central hub with a unique storyline that involved acquiring and filling bounty contracts on NPC bosses all throughout the game.
Then you could get ranks and reward items for finding a boss and killing it/getting it's green or subdueing it with a special skill you learn on the island.
Call it Bounty Isle or something. I don't know.
Just to say again...the contracts would be for any NPC boss, in any campaign. You can pick and choose depending on your bounty rank and what campaign(s) you have. I think it would offer some neat replay value of older campaigns too.

This is a good idea and i hope they do make something like this. Of course the main reason I hope it gets made is based on one hope. I hope that all the idiots spamming their overpriced junk will go there and spam all day so I don't have to see it when I walk thru a town. I will probably never visit this place but I will /sign this all day long if it gets rid of half of the idiot spammers.
