Theres a possibility, but it seems very hard. Spectral agony makes it annoying. Mursaat Necromancers seem like they would cause MAJOR problems. Mesmers can interupt you, and esurge you. Since theres monks, they may be able to outheal, especially if theres 2 mesmers in the group. Thunderclap could also make it very annoying. Other then that, it may be possible.

Got leilon's vow on second kill. Is there are glitch in adashim, cuz there are no cobalts or behemoths and many places seem empty.

You're in the Dasha Vestibule mission. I suggest you talk to the Key of Ahdashim in the outpost, he will teleport you to the explorable.

cant wait to try this im almost lvl 20 and all i need is the new set of armor so my question is can i use 45-55al from noob island so i dont have to waste about 25k on max armor

55 IW mesmers can do it so it probably would just take some minor tweaking

And iirc, the 55 IW used SB, which got nerfed.

Actually I'm not. I did talk to the Key and there are no cobalts or behemoths in the explorable city as there were in times that I visited before.

Nope, salvaging the essences isn't senseless. I have salvaged a sapphire from a sapphire dijjn essence. It is just a rare for that to happen. I probably salvaged close to 100 essences before one salvaged into a gem.

Oh. I haven't been to taht side in a week, so it may have been changed. My bad then.

OK have to ask aswell Immolated is a pain not so much the skrees just die once and keep moving keeping your PS MR and MV up and just limp your way out of agro only stopping to cast your above mentioned skills but then ....
My problem is the energy drains the roaring ethers suck me dry....is this one of thoose to take hero's and hench finish of the roaring ethers then flag the hench etc of radar and go for Immolated I can see how I withstand his attacks so not to worried about actually taking him on.

i expert salvaged a ruby from a ruby essence...i've only tried it once and decided to stop while ahead
CRAzY KeeSTeR
drop a few xtra points into smiting and u can use defenders zeal for energy management
its definately harder thna the normal build but if a person doesnt have prophecies this and zealous vow is all they got
i think this is better than zealous vow tho

anyone know if this will work on the acolytes?
JDStrider
I doubt it will. Im pretty sure there are kournan seers mixed in with them and they use shatter enchantments, etc.
RebelHero
lol acolyte of grenth... one enchantment murdering machine...

Hello people, one question.....nightbringer is nerfed or vanished?
Etrik
I soloed the Aco of Balth yesterday. Used henchies to kill the one seer that was in the way though, then got em to go off-radar and killed the bastard .
Edit: Nightbringer is in Floodplain. He was a duplicate spawn (Floodplain + Marga)

Allow me to thank you guys, especially Ecksor and Etrik, for you guys made it look so easy thatn even a farm noob like me can get right into action and perform decent in my first few runs. No green so far, but i'll definitely keep trying, off the coast of Kourma, btw. I'm not farther than that in Nightfall yet.
Intro
I just got GWN 2 weeks ago, and now that i tried the Dervish, my char has become second favorite after my SS/SV Necromancer (yeah, SS kick so much arse that i can't imagine taking that off my skills bar for good) And this is my FIRST time solo-farming ever. I've dual farmed UW and FOW, but never soloed anything, and by all means i'm no farming expert either.
Campfire
Well, i tried, as first target, the suggested place posted by Ecksor in 1st post. Landu Bay was the name? i guess. These are the stats of my beautiful Dervish chick (Diane Of Dalmasca):
Weapon: a max purple scythe, no enchants exp. can't remember all stats, but once i get on the game again i'll update all details.
Armor: Kamadan's (starters)
Runes: just all 5 sup Dervish ones --> HP: 130 E: 25>>>>
Attributes: Myst 10, Scythe Mast 14, Earth Pry 13, Prot Prt 9
Skills: Protective Spirit, Mystic Regen, Mystic Vigor, Mystic Sweep, Heremite's Attack, Random scythe mastery 5e attack, Balthazar's Spirit, Essence Bond.
Yes, no Reaper's Sweep yet, haven't cap'd it :'/.
Lore
Well, so i just went outside and followed Ecksor's suggested skill secuence. Then faced a few inscet mobs to get the feel of it, and surprisingly enough, i was killing everything around me in no time, although a few times i lost track of PS and died, so i focused more on status monitor. After a few mobs i was getting a sweet timing and pace, getting better results when 15 DP displayed.
By this time i had the assistance of a farming friend, who helped me a bit to storm the place at first. Then i tried alone.
Then i went after bosses, being Chor the Bladed the first victim, and for my surprise, i could handle him pretty well, despite my basic farming knowledge, skills and stats. Lunto Sharpfoot also died but it took me a while, since i couldn't do much dmg, this due to the fact i don't have enchant extenders, hence PS wears off too soon, and my energy managing is not good yet. Well, my point here is that i could still bring those bosses down, even for a noob like me. Sometimes i had morale boosts and i could handle well anyway. I will definitely keep practicing and learning from you guys, since i found this new build to actually be really fun to play with, very clever. I still have to improve my build, i don't have the elite skill, nor a enchant ext scythe, but i could definitely make it work, no matter what.
Again, thank you guys for this awesome build. I just hope it doesn't get nerfed soon. Really, kudos to you guys.

Reaper's Sweep is easy as hell to cap.
I caped it with my level 14 dervish with some henchies no problem.
The only reason I cant try this build is because im not level 20.

After Exuro Flatus in Domain of Secrets you can head east and kill Shakahm the Summoner (Rit boss), usually doesnt have a mesmer with him.
Teh_Nemesis
Sweet, although i don't know how far in the game should i go to get to Domain Of Secrets. I'm still stuck at Sunspear Sanctuary and boundaries.
The other 5e scythe mastery skill i was using is "Rending Sweep".

I'm guessing that you put up your enchantments with mystic regen last and wait for it to recharge. Go in, let the mesmer shatter it, put it up quicky, and kill him. For dual mesmers, I have no clue.

thats what I thought. I tried it, but I must have messed up.

I tried this build and it sucked...
Just kidding I tried it and it rocks, definitely a powerful farming build and also much more fun than some of the others I've tried. I have stats, skills and equipment as listed in the OP. I'm still having trouble with healers (such as the beetle queens), especially if they're alone. They can almost out-heal my damage, and it's much easier to kill them if they're with a bunch of other enemies (such as termites) because she'll heal them instead of herself. I have the same problem with diamond djinni, they have high armor and heal themselves frequently so it can take forever to bring one down.
I farmed the Hidden City of Abiwhatever a few times. There are indeed large amounts of empty space where I seem to remember seeing mobs last time I went (a few weeks ago). Pretty weird.
Oh, and I'm using a vampiric scythe. The added damage and life drain is nice, especially since you can usually attack three enemies at once because they gather around you. I only need Mystic Vigor when facing large, challenging groups, such as 5 djinni or a group of bugs with a boss. The health degen isn't a factor in combat since you'll have like +20 regen from Mystic Regeneration, just remember to switch to something else when you're not in combat.

I'm gonna hit up FoW when we get favor with this. Might switch Reapers Sweep with Vow of Silence and Mystic Vigor for Victorious Sweep, depending on how things go.
.:AON:.Grunt
Great build I was just able to kill Eshim Mindclouder with it...
Diva Signet
Tried this build in FoW....first monk killed, got a shard.
But anywho...having problems killing that inevitable lone warrior at the end...not enough energy to spam attacks, and heal sig heals him. Any suggestions?
Also, is it possible to kill groups with Shadow Mesmers in them without Vow of Silence?

Victorious sweep would probably not be a good idea...130hp?
vow of silence could help solo UW if you can take out the dying nightmares fast enough. Also watch out for the ataxe interrupts...could require precise timing.

Soloing UW with this wouldn't be that effective, since smites would be very annoying with their healing/SoJ.

after reading everyone posts on how well tey are doing I now want to smash the PC up. All mine does is stay alive, they cant kill me and I cant kill them. Serously.
Staying alive isnt the issue, its dropping the buggers. Knowing my luck there was a patch and its nerfed everything. before you ask im useing suli's and a crafted sundering sunspear 10% enchant sythe Teh_Nemesis

Did you check for any monks around the mob? If there's more than one, you'd probably will have an extremely hard time trying to bring down the mob, boss included. If there's just one monk, always go for him/her first, and locate yourself in such a way your scythe hits more than 2 targets, so you get properly healed, and also apply enough damage to keep the monk at bay. I always look for any monks around mobs i want to farm, separate them in case of two or more, and kill them first always, then i go for the boss. Works all the time. Got my few greens so far, which i'm very grateful of. Thanks Ecksor and Etrik, no i have some change to live decently in Guild Wars. Also, i like this farming build more and more every day. So I've been easily farming Wandalz the Angry (except for the fact I have to fight the kournans with henchmen) but I've been wondering if I'll still get the green if I take the henchmen and heroes off the radar. Does anyone have first-hand experience with it? I don't want to end up wasting my time. By the way, great build

If they are off radar, you still get 100% of the drops, but it's not a 100% chance that the boss will drop his green.
