2nd Birthday Ideas?

We have a mini Oni and Naga already.

I'm also sick of Gwen! I'd rather have nothing given to me on my birthday and Gwen eradicated from the story of Guild Wars forever. Then I'd be happy.

A death reset could be great as well, then I might be able to max that title on my warrior.

Also Rhedd people gonna still post non mini pet things.

An aura (like divine aura) or access to a special suit of armor would be nice.
My vote would be for a cool aura.

Please, NO more mini-pets, there are enough already. If it has to be mini's, just give us access to the one's that were not previously birthday gifts (and maybe even the chance to PICK which pet you get).

I'd like to see a mini Gwen, also I'd like to see real mini pets as a wild cat (tiger, leopard and so on) or a frog, a wolf, a rat - very cool, a bug, etc.

Weeeeeeeeeeeell, I'm coming up to two years of playing, but I don't have any characters that are even one year old anymore! I did have a character that got to twelve months old (I got a Whiptail), but my oldest now is er... about 7 months.

I'm sure there's no intention to alienate old players without old characters, so how about something permanent for the account, that can be applied to any character on the account? There's already great things like account titles and auras - how about an age title that combines the two? Like the way Lightbringer works by turning on that Lightbringer buff, your age title could turn an aura on that you could run around with!

Special idea -> Mini pet emotes.

/mini jump -> Your minipet jumps.
/mini roar -> your minipet roar.
And this for all the emotes, and special emotes.

Saint halo on the head is cool, but Anet must not support religious thing. Because after this, people of others religions will say "GW is catholic, GW is catholic !

hmmm why not a mini me, just a mini of your char. i find it better, because you wont need to sell it.

Aura, disguise, new emote, special weapon, anything except mini pets, please. Though weapon is my favourite, especially if it could be created in something similiar to PvP Equipment tool (special NPC maybe?), because it would be first event gift that has some actual use and isn't only taking place in storage most of time.

A 2-year old character really should have a full armoury by now, though.

You could have something like a quest pop up in your quest window:

My Second Birthday!

"Congratulations! You turned two years old today and your good friend [who-ever] the Weaponsmith has granted you with a special honour!"

You open your gift box to reveal a Weapon Ticket.

You take this ticket over to [who-ever] the Weaponsmith and he gives you a selection of weapon types, all green and all inscribable and clean (so you will have to upgrade them yourself as well) and all beginning with your name, so I'd pick (for example) "Elisa Sarendil's [...]", in the [...] box you'd be able to fill in a second part to the sword's name, for example, "Rake". My sword's name would then be "Elisa Sarendil's Rake". These weapons should be tradeable, because the name already links them to your character. And who wouldn't want to have someone call out their weapon in a mission and it actually has your name on?

If that is too far-fetched, give us a special armour that has our own name on it. Customize it per account, please, so other account characters can use it as well.

If that isn't possible, either, the disguises sound a lot of fun! Of course, any special item that we can use indefinitely and is humurous or "cool" would be welcome. I think we should get a minipet in addition to getting one of these new things, but I'm just greedy like that.

Or have the ability to use a SECOND minipet at the same time. Hurt me if it has been suggested before, but I'm 2 important to read to all above posts.

same for me ! something like a title including a special aura - a bright light from above saying: he's one hell of a guy/gal ! ^^
Mini pets can be traded, there is no exclusiveness about that

/edit: by saying "aura" I don't mean the divine aura from CE, more something like the glimmer on Shiro's shoulders after he gets killed at the end of Factions or the one on the player's shoulders in the cinematic after you get killed in Vizunah Square --- and this glimmer is connected with a title and is only shown when you switch on that title (which doesn't count to koabd)

I'd be dissapointed to see minipets again. As a CE owner I think I'd also be annoyed if everyone else started getting the Divine Aura.

I don't think I've seen it mentioned so far but it'd be quite cool to have a customised weapon that works sort of like a Chimeric Prism for each class. Like a Necromancer would get modifiers to Blood / Curses / Death / Reaping based on their attributes. This would probably be too nasty to balance though.

Whatever it turns out to be, I think it'd be nice if it wasn't tradable.

But if we have to have mini pets, how about a mini me (you)....errr a mini character, I would love to be followed by a mini Roshi ikkyu.



Still hoping for more then just a mini, make it mean something please Anet 2 years is along time to keep a toon.

Ohh, maybe bring back the forgotten armour artworks that didn't make it into release as an inscribable set for 2yr old characters only

no just no just because you have been around for 2 years you should not get divine aura some people paid/pay a lot for the original ce to find it now is upwards of around $400+ ,that should not be just handed out
