A run I'm sure most of you already know, but I thought I would share anyways since I've been using it alot lately, mostly as a change of scenery from Pongmei is the Raisu Palace run. Beside the change of scenery it also drops some really nice crap like Forbidden Staffs and Oni Blades (my heroes are happy people).

Along the path I took theres usually somewhere between 3 and 5 chests to be found. Should be easily doable in HM for experienced runners. I pesonally prefer NM for higher retention rate and greater ease. Run takes around 4 minutes, which makes for a pretty awesome chest-per-minute ratio.
As for the build, I guess on normal basically anything goes. Just grab your generic SF build + some heroes with incoming/fallback/charge. If possible I recommend taking some kind of evasion, since there are a few annoying rangers that can piss you off easily with their delibi-something shot.

Hey, Got bored with Pongmei so I started to run other area's in Cantha. I did 80 Lockpicks in Wajjun Bazaar, Result: 2Dragon staffs, 1 Bo staff, 2 Bladed shields and a TON of Armors.
So I took the liberty to make a map, on average you get 2chests in a 2min run. (1chest minimum and 3 chests if you are very lucky) => in my book this is a good ratio with a nice chance of cool skinned drops
The area is not that hard to run with SF and hero's ^^
By the way just a fun fact
I got all my rare skinned weapons on that very last chests on the route 
(hope you guys are as lucky as me )

So i'm not sure if this quest is new or if it only appears if u completed WoC, but its possible to return to the 'old cantha' so now u can get plagueborn chests again

yep this quest makes the plagueborn chest spawn again (you don't have to complete woc) ^^

Protip: have Seek Out Brother Tosai active, it can give you up to 4 chests.
Edit: just did a full inventory of chests, 2 dragon Breath Wands and some random stuff, all shit though, but patience might bring me some luck

So, one day further, we get this:

Also, something I've noticed, but need more testing to confirm: whenever I get a purple from this chest run, ALL the drops I get are purple from the same run. I've noticed it to be the case about 5 times in a row, but I'm looking for 1 counter example to dismiss it. It would make no sense at all if it were true, so I'm doubting it at the moment and dismissing it as bad luck. But I guess when it keeps happening without counter example, I guess it's true for this particular run...

Haven't got much time lately to test, so straigh question:
There are some areas that may be better to chestrun with the Flashback quest rather than with new spawns or most of the times doesn't change too much?

In Pongmei, all it does is change 1 possible chest spawn from Afflicted to Am Fah
If you want to do the Bukdek Byway chestrun for afflicted items, logically, you'll need the Flashback up, however, you can do the exact same chestrun, but then without the Flashback for Am Fah chests.
So, basically, it's usually not very beneficial. In fact, in Silent Surf, not having it up makes you get 4-5 chests more often, making your average about 4,2 chests, rather than like 3,7 with the Flashback thing.
That's just my experiences.

Not my day.. 50 Lockpicks used an only 5 Retained - Running in Wajjun now its nice & fun, no badass drops dropped yet, some elite tomes are the highs atm

Whenever I run a full inventory, which in my case is 42 chests (unless I bother to clean up my Heavy Equip pack for chestrunning, but I barely do that lately) I typically break about 20 lockpicks, and I basically make those back merching all the crap I get + armors alone, any elite tomes (though I've noticed elite tome droprates here are rather low, or at least to me they are) are bonus cash, and the nice drops I've had so far (with a current offer of 40e) makes the run kind of worthwhile It's a good change in between triple account chestrunning Rhea's Crater and running Vermin. And the potential for drops is even better than Rhea's Crater (though a good demons Outcast is 1,000e+) and it's been rewarding me only 1 day in
Can't wait for a good Bladed/bo/dragon/platinum staff

@Superraptors Yup its Quite a Good run, Mostly always 1 chest sometimes two and rather quick.
That Wajjun Bazaar Chest run that Bright star shine Showed is great, Was running yesterday with a friend-Got several Bo staffs but nothing worth selling. I did get a Q9 dragon staff but it wasn't perfect*Sniff*
Edit: Also bright mentioned that if his first chest was purple then the rest would be, I can say that you right. If my first drop is purple every other chest i open will be purple :\

i dont know about wajjun bazzar but i tried it a couple of times and had atleast half a dozen runs with 1 chest, if thats the case you may aswell run dragons throat with cleansing done then you can get 2 chests in 2-3 minutes consistently.

yeh i do, im still getting 1 chest a run 50% of the time, 40% is like 2 chests and 10% for 3 chests.

Man, you lot have more luck than me, ive probably ran 200 chests so far, got lots of nice skins, but all the stats are rubbish! 
Best thing i got so far is 1 sup vigor ( the armors are such a nice bonus, back in the day i used to hate them o.O) Erie Staff 20/20 communing and a Golden Chalice, req9 energy, HSR 10% +10al^hexed.
Time to do some more
i tried the shadows passage with the cleansing quest, did 12 chests in HM and they was all purple lol so i gave up, i used to run here without the quest and just go for the first chest, got a couple of paper fans, but nothing worthy
- Just got a Katana Req 10 +5 energy =) i said to myself before i ID it, i bet its +5 and it was haha xD i love those moments :P
