Wow people be lazy and not care like me ^_^

If you don't care, then keep your nose out of it. This is an awesome artistic endeavor by many folks and I applaud their work.

is it possible to extract a hairstyle texture from a campaign and put it on a character from another (for example nf ele hair on tyrian ele)
if yes i really have to learn and try it at least once

There are two things in question for that iriyabran.
One is about geometry, the second is about texture.
Think of it as geometry and paint. Sure you can apply the same paint to any geometry, but it wont always look right.
if your asking about changing the 3d aspect then no, thats not possible. What you CAN do is change the 2d aspect, the texture, which affects color, the way it looks and its how shinny it is.
You can either take the default layout of your hairstyle and bring it to photoshop and alter it, or take the hair texture of a hairstyle that looks similar enough in 3d space and substitute it for that and hope that it matches closely enough.
I hope that answers your question

I need help modding! Im considering reinstalling or repair installing guild wars to see if it will allow me to mod if i choose a different install. I can't get textmod to apply the mods to my guild wars client thru package mod even when i follow the steps correctly. Will reintsalling ruin my account or anything I have achived on my game? Or can some1 else giveme a reason to why the mods dont work.

I really like the Dark Glass beta 4 too, my only nitpick is that some parts are incredibly hard to see.. Namely anytime you hover over a weapon, or someone's name, it's a bit too transparent. Check this example:
Now, I usually run with the chat box up, so I know the easy solution is to just close it. But that doesn't help for reading char names/titles/item descriptions in inventory, stash, or trade window. I haven't got around to loading up Texmod today to see if it's possible, but if you could make the backgrounds for only the items/char names and the like a slightly more opaque while keeping the transparency everywhere else, it would help the usability a ton, while still keeping the eyecandy.

A few minutes with TexMod, and I changed my Glacial Sword into a Magma Sword:

Ok, here's a reskinned Hourglass Staff
And the mod.
Or if that's too shiny, here's a version with the head and end golden, and the rest left alone.
And the mod for that.

I never really liked the footprints in guildwars, so i decided to remove them.
This mod is tiny and simple, no need for screens, it just removes the footprints.

If you're good enough with a paint brush it looks real-ish I spose.

(you may need this plugin for photoshop)
2.In photoshop, goto the channel view. You should see a Red, Green, Blue and Alpha channel.
3. The Alpha channel controls transparency, when it is black the texture is transparent. (Over R=100,G=100,B=100 the alpha layer controls shininess instead). The actual affect is probably dependant on the object, so results may vary.
4.When you save, make sure you have Explicit Alpha selected in the Nvidia dds options dialog that appears.
Mr. G
