330hp Rt/Mo Vengeful Spirit Bonder -Quick HM Farming!

Yeah I thought about testing on those Berserking Minotaurs, but I just realized that Symbiosis is seriously on Steroids in Hard Mode, and you can't kill it, unless you use a staff or something. I wonder how much Health the Minotaurs get :/

great build
altough i have a question. whats the maximum number of aataxe's you can take at once in HM UW. because if i have 3 at once. they attack faster then 10 times within 2 sec (spirit bond) so they kill me before i can even recast it..
thanks

Try not aggroing so many aatxes? I don't have this problem on my 600 monk.

This build look´s good have to try it out!

Then just use a Staff or Wand and kill it, they die really fast, hence the name, Dying Nightmare. After that's dead, DO NOT FORGET TO RECAST YOUR UPKEPT ENCHANTMENTS, and Prot Spirit. You might as well cast VwK before running out of the safe zone, just so it won't get interrupted
If you didn't get what I said by "hide behind the NPC Benton" I'll upload an image, so don't worry.

thanks It generally just takes getting used to.
They used to take me down very fast when I first went to the Underworld with this build... now that I have gotten the hang of it they only rarely kill me.

btw ReZDoGG, you should add these to your farming list, i just tryed yesterday in HM: Djins Outside eye of the north, Frozen Elementals+boss Outside Eotn, Stone Wolves, Melee Charrs (about 20-25) in the quest Charr Invaders.

They are already on the list with an area map of locations for each group of enemies. I would make a video of whole Ice Cliff run, but its around a 20 minute run. If you want to take out the bosses, switch RoD for Pain Inverter... can take out the ranger and ele boss no problem.
I had thought about that quest, but I had already completed it I wish there was a way to reactivate certain quest if u already completed them... I shouldn't of done any side quest until HM came out, to make sure I don't miss out on some extra farming places... but I think I completed a good deal of them with my Rit too...sux.

Unfortunately, my Ritualist hasn't gone this far in the game yet, but the Primary Quest Assault on the Stronghold.... It spawns Charr in the beginning. Three of them, all melee! Would anyone mind testing out?
Here's the quest, just don't attack the Rangers on top of the hill, stay near the Siege Devourer.
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Assault_on_the_Stronghold
EDIT: Ok, just tested it out, it takes a while to take them out. If you aggro to many, it's not a good thing, it's like aggroing too many trolls in Talus Chute... They run away and use Healing Signet.

Id just like to say, I think this build could solo many green farms, all Bosses that can be lured away from large mobs can be killed in HM imo. Xuekeko The Deceptive works. Faster than on my sin too >_<.
Btw I'd just like to add.. The build is awesome... It is a bit tricky ast first.. Lost 2k on UW entrances, but once you get the hang of it, its great. Keep up the good work!

Hey,
Cool build I have almost got it for my Rt (Sir Berliner), just need one more skill (VwK) and the Staff upgrades. Might have already been posted, but how much do the staff upgrades cost?

The Enchantment wrap isn't really needed, as you don't get them staff benefits when VwK is in use or while holding any items.

All upgrades will be around 10k total, but they're not that necesary, my rit is using a req2 channeling staff with 6 energy and 12% halve skill recharge (some dumb item I found on factions noob island lol)

Alem's Remedy works quite well, in fact, it's the only Restoration Staff, along with Staff of the Forgotten, and they have the exact same stats
I don't really see how you run out of Energy, but it could be because of the -1 Energy Regeneration, or you could possibly be spamming Protective Spirit too much. Only use it when it's around half way down (When fighting Bladed Aatxes in The Underworld), or just before it ends for anything else.
Another reason might be because the mobs are too small... You need more enemies hitting you to gain Energy. If the enemies are casters, the Energy Gain per second might be lower because they're casting spells that take a while.

Can anyone tell me how dual 20% HSR stacks? 1x.2x.2 or 1x.4? Was debating using wand with 20HSR +5e while enchanted+end game focus with 12e and 20HSR or my 20e staff with 20HSR and 20%enchantment.
Btw, you can farm Pongmei Valley out of Maatu Keep for most enemies except dual brotherhood mesmers I guess, and also Behemoths in the mirror of lyss could be added.
And does anyone know if I need to complete NF to get into the hidden city?

And does anyone know if I need to complete NF to get into the hidden city? I think the dual HSR is 4%... You get 20%HSR once, and you have another 20% of the original 20%, which is 4%, for it to trigger again.
To get to Hidden City, you have to have the quest Calling the Order completed (That's if you picked Master of Whispers, and I'm assuming you chose him), then you can just goto the Mirror of Lyss and travel to the rock wall.

I know I was all for this build in the beginning, but I've seen the light now. This build should be nerfed because it turns HM into a playground for scrubs.

The main survival skill has already been nerfed for the worst part. For the rest of the skills used, there is absolutely no reason to nerf them at all... they been around since first 2 campaigns, and already made it through all the changes since then. So, it will never be nerfed if you ask me... Same goes for any Invinci builds. And the build ain't as easy for some people... it does require some skill and experience with farming, and a bit of time to learn and get a hang of.
And whats wrong with having a build that can make you some money? and giving you plenty of areas and things to farm... other builds are so limited to where they can go, they end up getting boring with not much profit. The farming part of the game got nerfed so much in past year, why would they make any changes to skills that made it this far? These days you can't go out and make the gold you use to make... you have to work a bit harder. So whats wrong with having a build that can make the game easier and more enjoyable? It is just a game right? and it is supposed to be fun... I think Anet has taken enough fun away from the game already, why take it all? If you don't like making money, don't use it

I love to farm, it's one of the ways I like to play the game. I am leveling a Ritualist just so I can try out this build, I have done the 55 think for a long time and this build looks like a lot of fun. If I manage to make some extra gold, then all the better.
As stated above, farming is not what it used to be, it takes a bit more work these days but it's still fun. If the fun farming builds get nerfed I would probably end up playing a different game. In the end I think (and hope) that Arena Net sees farming as one of the ways people like to play and will leave it in, if they wanted to kill it they have had more than enough time.

It was sarcasm Rezz no worries, I love the build. Just a reference to the multitude of idiots on Guru who scream "nerf" to everything that works well in PvE. I am 100% in agreement with you, the more Anet listens to the people the more fun is being taking out of the game.
jeejeeTuukka
You could add avalance to the list of farmable things in ice cliff chasm. It's doable with replacing reversal of damage with SoA. SoA helps to offset the general pressure (and is great if you manage to cast it right before maelstrom.
You'll survive maelstrom by casting spirit bond -exactly- when maelstrom hits you. It's a actually a rather big window and predictable, because maelstrom hits you exactly 10 times in 1 second intervals.

I know But I had to make a point for other people that might question it... but I do know there are jerks out there that do want stuff nerfed all the damn time. Especially people that don't even like farming, but still want it nerfed for some reason. doesn't make sense.

OMG this is officially the best Rit build ever made, great job ( but i still cant get the hang of it lol)

Yea, deleted my 55 armor a long time ago after this. It's a lot faster and more fun imo. It is now the only thing I farm with really, besides a/e shadow form

Just loving farming the Jade Armor and Jade Bows using this build in HM - it is fool proof!!!

I've been dying to try this, but haven't gotten around to it. I've made a rit, but don't feel like advancing in the campaign with her to farm, but hopefully I'll get to it eventually. If you are the one that created this build, damn mate... damn. Amazing.

Well you could always just farm the newb islands in Factions and Nightfall if you don't want to take ur Rit through the game... They both have a good number of farming areas, aslong as you got HM unlocked. It would be best to take your Rit through some of factions to get to the Luxon Sins, and maybe just take him around the Nightfall island... or maybe far as Vabbi. You would then cover a good deal of the farming areas. As for Gwen you would only need to go alittle way to cover the few areas to farm... but if you want to farm the Battledepths you would need to complete game, or take someone with you that has completed game.
And yes I am the original creator of the build... but I hope you like it.

Thank you Ring of Fire mission? get any Mursaat Longbows yet? I need to do a mission in shiverpeaks to get to Emberlight camp... so it's kind of far enough to not bother with it,but have been wondering how it works, and how the drops are.

Cannot complain about the drops - 3 Mursaat Hornbows req 9, 10, and 10 - one 15^50 another 15/-10
and two Mursaat Hammers req 9 and 12. Gold Mursaat Garments drop all the time as well as a sprinkling of other gold items.
Run takes about 3-4 minutes.
Patience is the key for the Mursaat Hornbows/Hammers - it takes time but eventually one will drop!

Not solo, cause they have enchant stripping... I wish you it was possible. Maybe if you have a SB Monk with you u could.... should be possible to dual it with someone, not sure how far you would beable to go though. I tried farming Glints with a Rt/Me Echo VWK build but its quite hard and frustrating, and not so effecient...

They have enchantment removal in glints channel? Didn't know that

I didn't feel like reading through 20 pages of stuff, so I'm probably gonna ask a question someone already asked. If it is, sorry. If not, then I guess we'll all get something out of it!
But yeah, where are the best drop areas. I saw your list of areas this build works, but I'm guessing some of those are for exp. I've been farming Luxon Sins in Boreas, but I'm getting sorta bored with that and would like to find somewhere else to farm with decent drops.
