330hp Rt/Mo Vengeful Spirit Bonder -Quick HM Farming!
wally
Mmm, I just converted my VwK Rt/E into this build for a spin and it's working really well, though it's not quite so brainless as many other builds (the quirks of SB require some getting used to and paying attention).
I've found that judicious dodging in between VwK for enemies that don't hit hard enough to trigger SB (Mergoyles are frustrating). I've been spending some time just outside Lion's Arch and in Nebu Terrace trying to figure out how to farm everything.
The Tengu actually seem to be a pretty good group to farm -- they drop feathers all over the place (which are selling at really nice prices) and lots of purps.
The trick is dealing with the Tengu Wilds which shatter enchants and use cry of frustration.
I swap out Reversal of Damage for Vigorous Spirit and Retribution for Resilient Weapon.
I've had pretty good success putting Vig. Spirit as the cover enchant in 1-Wild groups (haven't tackled 2+ Wild groups) and just trying to keep on top of all of the other enchants. Resilient weapon may or may not swap out for something else (Signet of Mystic Wrath might be nice - either to hit the Wild to kill it quickly or to draw out it's Cry of Frustration for 0 energy).
Either way, it's another place to farm, and the feather drops at trader prices make it a pretty great place to farm for gold.

Could someone PM me a Rt/Mo build for pve that I could use until, I get the desired gear and all that great stuff for this build?

I have been doing this build for quite a while now and I was wondering,
are there any Monk or Rt bosses that can be farmed with this build?
Especially in HM, Because these Elite Tome prices are quite high, i tried Tomton
but he can't be done with this build.

Monks no, because you rely on damage taken to hurt them and monk will just pause to heal themselves. Rts maybe, since most Rt bosses are damage-oriented.

I have seen many dual Monks or a Monk with a Hero Monk bonder doing Cathedral of Flames in HM pretty easily.
Has anyone tried this with a 330hp Rt/Mo and another Monk or Hero Monk Bonder?
If so how was the Monk or Hero Monk setup for the 330 Rt/Mo? Do you have them enchant you to heal like Mending or do you use them to mitigate damage like Protective Bond?

I tried this with a Hero monk it is works even better;
I set the Monk to 16 smite 14 protect
I have the Monk cast Balthazar Spirit, Retribution, and Life Barrier (Elite) on my Rt/Mo.
Then replaced Balthazar Spirit, and Retribution on my Rt/Mo skill barn with Symbol of Wrath and since about the only time I was dying was due to stacked conditions I use Dismiss Condition it only cost 5 eng, removes a condition and heals for 55 health.

Have you tried adding Purifying Veil to your bonder's bar? You've got room for a fourth enchant and 47% faster condition expiration might help. You could also leave BS on the Rt and put Holy Wrath on the Monk.
And Mending Touch should be twice as effective as Dismiss Condition if you're under stacked conditions. Have yet to do it myself so i can't vouch for my suggestions.

Interesting ideas but I don't think Holy Wrath is usable because of its absurd 10 energy per hit cost. Even if you put the Blessed Signet on the Monk Heroes skill bar and let it spam it I don't think it could come close to keeping up the the energy cost to maintain Holy Wrath.
I would be afraid the Monk hero would get to 0 or -energy trying to maintain it thus cause all the other enchants it was maintaining for you to drop too easily.
Now the Purifying Veil idea I am going to try, that sounds like a real good idea as well as mending touch.

I based my Legendary Survivor thread more or less on the 600/Smite team build. With Holy Wrath and Retribution on the Smiter you do much more damage. The hero will go to zero energy and sit there, but the bonds don't break You can give the Mo blessed signet to build up energy between battles, but it's not needed.

You are right it works!
I Moved BS back to Rt/Mo and added Holy Wrath and Purifying Veil to the Monk bonder bar and it works very well. I tossed Blessed Sig on the Monks bar as well seems to help some.
I also might try adding Recovery on the Rit skill bar for heavy condition areas and casting it just outside agro range before heading in to battle. If it stacks with Purifying Veil then conditions would only last a few seconds at most.

What areas did you vanquish? And how do you deal with Enchant Strips and such? Guessing most of areas on the newb islands...
vidario
Is it true that you can farm Rot Wallows with this spec? As far as I know they do a lot of life stealing which makes it real hard to solo..?

It's possible, but can run alil low on energy due to them casting spells more than hittin you... but I have tried it, and you can farm them if you want. From what I remember, try not to spam spells too much against enemies that cast alot of spells... just cast what is needed, and manage VW and RoD to keep enough energy for Prot Spirit and SB.

I see, thanks for the advice!

For Cantha, try the Nagas in Shining Jea Island. I'm getting alot of goldies from them

Has anyone had any success with this build at Dasha vestibule (nightfall) in either HM or NM? This is for farming elementals (djinns) as the OP claims...
Feedback appreciated. Thanks

With Elementals I think he means Hulking Stone Elementals in HM Ascalon, not Djinns.

Feedback appreciated. Thanks It is possible, but they can take quite along time because of the Diamond Djinns are support Paragons. You can try using Pain Inverter instead of RoD and you should beable to kill them off alot quicker.... by taking out 1 here and there with Pain Inverter alone...

Well this is realy the best rt farm build that i know.
Anyway you can farm with this build Elsnils frigidheart and the ice elementals. Start at Eye of the North and then kill some wolfs..ignore johon and the avalanche and go to the elementals and kill the groups...5 at a time + i would change reversal dmg with ''Finish Him''(norn skill) if you have r5 or higher...deep wound/cracked armor helps. Got today his green and some golds, hope this helps .

Pain Inverter is way better for farming Ice Cliffs... you can take out the bosses alot easier. Just have to manage your energy a bit when it comes to the Ranger boss... I have a full video of the whole run in about 14 minutes, but I haven't bothered to upload it to youtube. But yeah, Pain Inverter works very nicely with the build.... its a good alternative for RoD.

Does anyone know if this build would work on the yetis outside Aspenwood (luxon) with "Return of the Yeti" on?
I have tried using the search button, but it was all about Yeti Mini-pets etc
Thanks in advance

=) It will kill all the yeti's includin the Rit boss... but never tried it with that quest. You also can only go as far as the Rit boss I think, since there is a Monk boss in the cave, and one too many enemies close together.

Anything to do extra damage... anything in smiting maybe. Or you can use the new Gwen skills. I been using "Drunken Master" lately to get me to areas faster... as I been tryin to find new areas. Also can use "I am Unstoppable" if you wanna farm something that knocks you down like Wardens or Vermins in factions. Or you can take Pain Inverter which can do quite of bit of damage fast... it does 80 damage every hit for one foe that is hexed with it. It is also good for taking down bosses faster. Just look around and see what you can use to help you out.... RoD is optional, but definately good for spamming extra damage.

Well, I never read this... Cause I don't really prefer my rit... I just love my ele.. But ReZDoGG has convinced me to use it, and swing with it for a while.. ^^ Thanks.

Does anyone know the most effective places, cash-wise to farm, other than UW, with this builds?
Oh, and how does it cope with boss farming? Possible?

Very interesting stuff, just got the spells and stuff for teh ritmo
and im about to unleash teh fury on GW alone, kekekeke.
But it seems I cannot get them points right:
If I load up the template from the first page
OAOk4gPaITKjFj4VP0i4V8h+QeA
then I got:
Smiting 8
Protection 10
Restoration 10
Spawning 2
... and 8 unused points left.
Is that right?
Since I got Superior Restoration Rune in the Headwrap that gives me only 14 points total. (10 +1 +3)
Also, I got Superior Spawning Rune in the shoes and that gives me total of 5 points (2 +3)

Is there something obvious im missing?
Any tips for beginner farmer like me?
Gear Im using atm:
Basically, I got starter armor and bought me that + 15AL headwrap in Shing Jea Monastery. And im still using Hourglass Staff.
Nice guide and very nice vidoes on teh tuuube kthnxverymuchos.

Do the extra attribute point quests to boost Rest to 16. Just play Factions until you get to Senji's Corner and they'll be done. You can change your secondary at Senji's which is useful for experimenting with other builds like Rt/W, Rt/Me etc.
bobbysue
Ah, found it, thanks.

hi,this build is greath but after few hours i dont get any drops.iwant to ask,in hidden city of Ahdashim where are djinns, can you farm it?and if yes post what skills you use, because with original build i cant have too much health.so i use Resilient Weapon and replace Vengeful Weapon with Reversal of Damage.it work quite so,but i get dead too much times.so what build you use there and some advice to it.and also can you run it in HM?thanks
Ghost of Toast
It is HM ONLY because you have to get 60+dmg in each hit to trigger SB. You NEED to have 330hp to cover dmg with VwK. And yes i think that is possible to farm in hidden city (but i didn't tried farming there so i can by wrong)
