Just ordered the Pre-Order thru the online store myself and have not gotten any access key yet to add to my account. It says I have an un-used Key but will not let me use it ? Guessing they are confirming the purchase yet or it takes awhile ?
If not then the store interface isn't exactly the best user friendly thing they have created. I only purchased it through the on-line store because retailers in my neck of the woods don't have the pre-release and even the larger stores BEST BUY, ect. are just too much of a hazzle to deal with and too far away.

This stinks, I went to a few different stores (Best Buy,GameStop,etc) but no pre-release bonus pack yet and at GameStop I didn't see it on the shelves either. The GameStop website says GW:EN with Bonus pre-release ships on 8/31/07 but if it ships out that day then we won't be able to attend the sneek peek weekend. I'll probably check back in the stores next week.

I just purchased the Pre-Order pack from the online store. Once I had filled in my purchase information and clicked submit, the "submitting transaction" box popped up, and stayed there for a minute or so. Then, I got an error saying the transaction timed out. An hour later I went back to the store to try to purchase it again, and my option to add to cart is grayed out, and in red it says "already added to account". The "Edit Access Keys" menu says I have access to the three items as well as the world preview event, but, the items cannot be created through /bonus, and do not show up in the /preorder list.
So, I guess this means the items won't be coming out until the preview event, or, something went screwy with my, as well as many other people's, transactions.

I want the prerelease box cover more than the bonus weapons. So i'll wait in-store instead of online. But I live in canada, in NF none of the store has it. Hopefully in BestBuy they'll have it :S

Honestly, if you cant really access anything with the pre-release until later, who really cares when it ships ? Not trying to be a pessimist here, but really, does it matter that much if you wait a day or two extra for a key that is pretty much useless?

Despite reading the various press releases and this thread, I'm still confused about this whole pre-release "pack" thing. Can someone break it down in ridiculously simple terms?
I gather that, over the next couple days, you should be able to walk into a store and pick up an GW:EN box for $X, right? And this box grants you a few new items as well as the preview weekend? And then you buy the regular game when it's released, but the preview content gets credited to the purchase? Is that about right?

yip just got the items. the staff and sword look cool. the bow coulda been done better. apparently i misread the stats on the items when they were announced, thought you could add a second prefix onto them but its suffix >.< not great, not bad.... just waiting for the preview weekend >.<

Yes it will, its been confirmed in another thread. Just make sure you also buy GW:EN in the online store and it will automatically apply it.

do not enter the key untill the 24th, as i did thinking will be all set up for the sneak preview, only to read 9 hours ltr that i had 1 hour left to play it grrrr.which was a total waste of time glad it only cost me a couple of quid

When you type /bonus you get a full set. You can do this on each character you have. If you type /bonus again it checks to see which weapons are either already in your inventory or on your character and doesnt spawn those again. Would you put them in storage or on a hero and type /bonus you will get them again tho, so you can have multiple of the same weapon.

just as I thought. THe local EB Games store here in town had no clue what I was talking about when I asked them about a pre-release pak. Even told them it was offered on their online store. Figures. Once again because I am leary of buying off the game store and dont want to wait for my copy of GW-EN to be mailed to me after realease,I wont get the pak. Couldnt get it for factions or nf either. I did get the usual line from the employees that they will talk to the district manager and see what they can do. Like i havent heard that before. Well those of you that got it, have fun when the time comes and I will see you all on Aug. 31.

I think he's talking about the 10 hour trial - which wouldn't be much use for the GW:EN preview event anyway - since it's an expansion for level 20 players and it would take most of those 10 hours just leveling to 20 (and that assumes an experienced player, who knows what to do).

I *think* the online store applies the trial code automatically - making it pointless and non-tradeable, if you've already got all chapters.

I didn't think you could put /bonus items in storage? (I was actually trying to with the serrated shield last night and it wouldn't move over-- maybe it was a bug, but regardless, it wouldn't go into storage.)

Or was storage space an issue? Just delete the item, /bonus will always make the item 10000000 zillion times. Or did you want the item on 2 heroes, easy, give it to one, type /bonus again and ull see another item pop up.
