Ok i don't know if this can go here but if it can't mods please move.

After sitting in TOA many hours having allready got titles on loads of chars i realised this new system is rubbish it can't possibly work so therefor i have started this petition to put a end to it.

I counted over 80 Monks.Necros with nothing to do in TOA this is just wrong people want to farm so let them farm either by having no favour (which would be the best way as its equal then) or by the old system.

I rest my case so anyone in favour of no favour system or back to the old one pls post here now and hopefully Gaile or Anet will see this and the matter will be resolved soon.

Well - since I am Euro changing back doesn't completely suck - BUT I'd much prefer something different.
Something that the players himself does and THAT grants him access - either permanent or temporarily.
So that we don't need to rely on others for our fun!
Or just remove it ...

yeah, i'm not sure why they even bother to keep any kind of 'favor' requirement. haven't really gone to fow or uw since shortly after they added the nightmares in uw...but those update notes looked like someone took one too many bong hits before creating the title system.

It was bad enough for Americans who wanted to do elites during a reasonable time of day. Could you imagine how much crap it was for Taiwan and Japan who barely ever had favor? The system really just didn't work. We'll see how the new way pans out.

FOW and UW are meant to be elite areas. Favour was meant to be an achievement.

Not a given, Perhaps those 80 monks and Necro will consider doing something besides ecto farming! If there not a gold-seller employee they could easily find a group with someone who has a scroll.

It's a step in the right direction, but it has almost turned grinding into a necessity. And it's only the top rank of a title. Does anet know how long it takes to get up there? Titles are finite. The players streaming in, however, are not. Eventually the supply of players will dry up, and no one will achieve max titles anymore, and that means no more favor.

I SORT OF sign this... because the old system was even worse... however, the current system is not much better.

This new system actually makes sense, unlike how PvP governs elite PvE zones. Which didn't make sense.

Give it a chance. It's been less than a day. They made a good faith effort to fix what many view as a problem. It's not fair that any region should be virtually shut out of an area of the game, and that's what was happening. At least give this the weekend and give yourself the chance to form more than an impulsive opinion on the matter.. I think that's only fair.

I've been on for just over 2 hours, and we've just picked up favour for the second time. 50% access is 3-4 times more than what I'm used to so.

The old system was broke and Anet knows it. This is their attempt to fix it. I'm sure they're basing the new system on data they've collected and seriously doubt they've picked these titles and numbers randomly out of a hat.

I think we need to give it a fair chance before we start passing judgment.

thats something I was toying around with in chat earlier. My idea is to make it require protector title. get protector title in a campaign, and you can access the fissure of woe and underworld from that campaign's outpost. keeps it within decent reach for most real players, and keeps bots and goldfarmers out.

sad thing is most jap guild and taiwan guild that won HoHs are EU and US players, the only all pure taiwan guild is HNC吊，so even u see they have favor, is us winning for em

This favor system is better for the territories that don't get favor that much during the day (Japan,Korea,America,Taiwan).

/Not signed, Old system sucked as well. I suggest that you just have to pay now for access, no favor needed. What the hell, DoA is also accessible all times of the day, why the rest of the elite missions should be such a pain? The improvement to The Deep and The Warren is already better by allowing scrolls to be bough for faction, now we need some way to make something similar for FoW and UW.

In don't agree with this system or the old system. Other elite areas are dependent on your character, not PvP or other people. There should be a 1 off requirement to accessing UW / Fow. I don't have a clue what it could be but I believe this is the best way.

I think Anet is on the right track with the change. I been seeing
posts from people complaining that having favor tied to PvP
makes no sense at all, because people that PvP have no interest
at all in FoW or UW.

Having favor tied to the PvE area that has the most people
actively pursuing goals in the PvE side of the game just makes
more sense.

As far as farmers wanting to farm without getting favor. They can always
go "farm" scrolls, or spend some of the money they make farming ectos
to buy scrolls. Problem solved.

Who bleeding cares if it was tied to PvP? It kept access to FoW/UW not at the mercy of grinding for titles or spending ridiculous amounts of ingame cash to push that bar up.

This'll just encourage more botting for booze/sweet tooth indulgence to get access at all. Before you mention the scrolls, their prices will go higher than Tony Montana at the end of Scarface!
