its been discussed previously, if they moved it into mysticism, some dervish build would only spec in 2 attribs instead of 3
i liked this update, power leak got overkilled but everything else was ok, MR is still useful on terratanks but not as powerful as before

I already do only spec in 2 attributes. Moving MR into Mysticism would just make Earth Prayers about as compelling as Wind Prayers.

I think the selfheal buffs are good, so is the heal party buff. But the way VoD goes now is uberlame, every1 will split now, which is lame... WTB tactics imo
I also don't like the necro updates.... I just dont get why lol. Also I dont like the pleak nerf, cause I think pleak was good (I actually play monk not mesmer^^)

The main reason though is that earth tank elementalists abuse the skill but a Dervish should still be able to use it.

The update is a little weird but fine I guess.
Did Anet really mean to send a huge buff to touch rangers though? This is baaad... One of the few things that could hinder them was e-management, but now that's not so much of a problem anymore... I really hope they reconsider this... In casual pvp you often see more touchers than necros anyway.

unless they rend it useless, MR is going to be used by terranubs, besides the only places where they're annoying are Ab and RA and in RA you can report them for griefing

Shame they nerfed mesmers again, but the 1 energy skills for the necromancers are interesting. Not sure why people want to use them now, but ok.

At the moment, Necros are almost only used in gimmick builds (necro healers, hexers, minion factory + hammer rangers; or blood spike) whereas mesmers are everywhere (balanced and sin split builds).

Grenth means you can't be blocked by enchanted foes.
Wild Blow means block stances mean nothing.
Try combining the two...
Now surely the only ways of blocking a Grenth/WB Dervish will be Defensive Anthem, Shield Bash/Burning Shield, 2 Rit skills, and a couple of Warrior skills/shouts? Since the majority of blocking comes from Protective enchantments and Stances I certainly don't agree with "completely useless".

Really dislike the creation of 1 energy skills, breaking the whole structure of 5,10,15,20 etc. As suggested above it would be better to make them 0 Energy so you pay with your health only.
Mystic Regen is still powerful enough, for general use, with 3 enchants. If you're standing there trying to keep 6 enchants up and doing something other than farming, I'd question what it is.
I wish that A-Net would stop screwing with party heal. I have builds and hero builds that use (not all together) all of those four skills in some way. I was using LoD with Holy Haste to get round the 2 sec cast. But now the whole thing is going to need big tweaking and rebalancing...again. Whoever said GoLE+Heal Party now wins is right - a bar with that and WoH *looks* like it now wins hands down over a LoD bar.

You need a stance just to cover it, the Heal Sig will only early-cancel the stance and the stance still won't protect you from spells while you are sigging. The update really just makes it so you can get the conditional heal faster...but who cared about that when it sucked/sucks

When I first started playing I used it a lot because it is one of the first skills you get. I don't know how many times I used it, got the regen, but then, just before I would get the heal at the end, the enemy would die. In the second or so while I ran over to attack the next guy refuge would end and I would miss the final heal.
Now, at least, you have a little better chance of getting that extra 104 or whatever.
Still doubt I will use it though.

As for the 1e costs. EACH AND EVERY ONE of the DD skills do LESS damage to your opponent than it does to YOURSELF if you're specced at any reasonable PvP max health. Also the only 1e DD SPELL is Dark Pact, so you can't use anything else to trigger Cultist's (as if that is even viable) or Vampiric Spirit.
The only buffs that are true buffs are the ones to Hexer's, BiP, Blood Ritual and Offering of Blood. And I have a hard time seeing how this would make N come back into more viabibily for high-level PvP where it's now completely dead apart from the occasional taint-bot.

This will make a BIG difference in PVE. With 10 seconds, you could throw it on anything and be sure it would attack (or die) before the time expired. With four seconds it'll be a crapshoot casting it on anything but a warrior. It'll go wasted a lot. I cast this spell all the time, and I can say from experience it is very common to wait for a bit of running or casting before the damage triggers.

They did this mostly to nerf sineptitude. PvE is a secondary concern in balances.
