How much HP do you run in PvE?
Jenn
RAWwrrrrrrrrR! So, I was thinking of my pugging woes the other day as a monk, and was just wondering what the general community runs for their armor. How much health do you usually have? I know this will vary depending on swaps, but typically, including runes, your usual armor and weaponset, what's your HP at?
I need to know, because pugs make me very sad when they run around with 400 health, heroes with 350 health and... well. I get sad.
Depending on which attribute I spec into on my ele, and the swaps I have for it, I have about 585-615 health. On my monk, I usually keep it around 600-630. My heroes usually run about 550-580HP.
I don't as often run my + armor sets because they're not as pretty as my survivor set

Grasping Darkness
it depends on what you're doing. on my ursan tank...600
JONO51
610ish on my para. 500-550 on heroes 9still need to rune them up with vigs etc
Keekles
My monk has 570 in casting sets, 630 in shield sets.
My warrior has 600ish HP
My paragon has 550ish
My other characters have less health since I haven't been able to pimp them out with sup vigor/survivors.

In PvE you dont need more than 400hp unless youre just really bad.
I run less than 400 on most of my casters and they all have survivor and not because I stayed back I get in the mix. PvE is too easy to worry about HP.

Since I'm the warrior and want to be targeted the most, I go with around 485. Everyone else is above 515ish or so.
Darkobra
450hp. Always take protective spirit.
freaky naughty
None are below 500 HP my highest (Paragon) has around 600, can't remember off the top of my head.
Reflect
635 hp whatever build i use :}
Tatum
Hm.. Survivor Insignias on all armor pieces, superior vigor, and a vitae rune. And that is enough. Also my weapons have +30hp upgrades.
Kusandaa
I have 515hp with my necro, currently running blood (12+1+3), +30hp shield and axe and a sup vigor. My monk has the same (or a tad bit more, running with +45^enchanted shield), and my warrior must have 560+ given I don't run with a sup sword (her current att.) and without a sup vigor (major only).

I don't burden groups by joining with my monk, though. Strictly a farming character.

I have around 550 on warrior unless I"m doing sup strength or tactics then I have 515. Everyone else has around 460-480. I don't run with survivor sets often. Because well this isn't a health game.
Now on lotro you see my guardian has about 3769 morale. That's a health game.

Usually my Mes runs 485 hp. I always die last, positioning is almost everything that matters in PvE. My Para runs 520 or so, but I don't have a sup vigor on him yet, so the number will change. Probably down as I'll also add a major rune to him as well; don't really need 500+ hp in a 106 perma-armor character.
Dr Strangelove
500+ all the time.
Squishy ftw
My warrior has about 580 health, monk 620+. Heros are between 550 and 620.
Captain Miken
595 on my Hammer Warrior, 510 on his MM hero, 590 on his SS hero, and 600 on his Restoration hero.
Shanaeri Rynale
Depends, I use different armor sets including a high energy set and a high health set(600+) and give extra armor. If you can afford it, several sets to meet different criteria is extremely useful. It's surprising how many people think a one size fits all armor set, weapons or even build is ideal. It's not versitility is the name of game.
Steboy93
Like 590 on my warrior

550+ on everyone

On my ranger I have a Maj Vigor and 2 superior runes, no survivor. I never get hit on it so health isnt necessary.
My rit isn't done yet, but it will only have 330 health since ill only use for farming :-p.

I run 580 on my ranger, normally play as ursan, so the more hp the better

Like I said I have survivor on ALL my chars that run less than 400hp and I got survivor by fighting not getting ran. I have beat every campaign several times in NM and HM protectors on all. I could go on but I wont. So seriously if you really need more than that learn to play or kite or something.
Skyy High
~500 on the characters and heroes I don't use often, as close to 600 as I can get (or over) on anything I plan on bringing into HM.

I use 1 Superior Rune for the main attribute, rest minors, and a Superior Vigor. I do not use Survivor Insignias or Runes of Vitae on any of my characters. On a couple of characters I run a major run with the Superior, and on most heroes I run 2 Majors.
Not often is one character being attacked by large numbers of enemies in PvE. When they are, it is because they are the only one alive, or they are tanking and controlling aggro. Because of this, 450 is fine for me, but I often run a little higher. +30 from a weapon is typically what bumps it up to the 480 range.
Get below 450 and you start to see why health is important. I can always tell when someone in my PUG has 400 or less health. They get attacked first, die first, and die often.

I have a PvE of every class, and all of them run 570+ depending on class and weapon sets.
My heroes run 500+, I figure as long as they have more than henchies that's good enough for PvE.

550-600 depends on build

I run less than 450 on most casters and Im always last to die if I die at all.
Eldin
460 ish on my Ranger - and he's just FINE! You really don't need more than 500.
My warrior is 490 or so, it pushes into around 530 when I'm in a stance.
Casters 450 or so.
FYI I do NOT use Sup Vigors, I do NOT use any other Sup Runes, I tend to just use ONE major rune, oh and I use major vigor.
Most of my chars survive just fine.

~600 for each char

Well even though it's PvE, i still don't run sup runes. So it's still around 600ish as it is in PvP.

We've had an HP thread before, right? I'm getting crazy deja vu.
As much HP as possible is never "FTL" unless you are farming or doing the 130 Derv thing(btw, if you wanna play solo all the time, I hear there's this game called World of Warcraft that's "gud"; or maybe LOTRO). Yeah, tanking is bad. Very bad. How about having a decent team that puts out enough damage and can survive a spike with that "FTL HP" to finish off the mob? HP gives better survivability for an individual, and eases the pressure on the monks, which is good for team play, or so I hear.
