Did anyone even notice the amount of keys you will now get from the MAT? talking 15x the amount of keys. Thats a lot of extra keys about to get dropped into the economy. I doubt high prices of keys will stay for long. I just wish the randomness of the chest was better. with so many firewaters and brulee's comming out its usualy not worth it to open the chest when you can get 3k for the key

This is epic fail srsly. For those of us that actually partake in mats are being cheated. The only reward to the mat now are just extra reward pts. Their is no gurantee these rps will lead to these new rare items or anything good in general. Anet should have at least reward the top players in mats the tonics in addition to rps. I saw the new title and new tonic and I think its kind of kool. Just doing well in the mats are very difficult and those that do well should b given better rewards

Who owns GW? I believe ANET does. As they own the game they may do whatever they want with it. If people don't like what they do they have the choice to play or not to play. When will "the community" aka "the vocal minority" realize they have no entitlement with regards to GW. You can QQ all you want on the forums, but you should realize you are a minority of GW players, most whom have never heard of Guru. For people who are complaining its a money > skill title, You get keys from doing pvp related tasks. unless your admitting yourself that pvp takes no skill this title is in no way catering to time or money consumption for rewards.

People grind reputation for titles, is that much different than grinding gold to purchase keys for a title?

All titles are grind based. This one just superficially seems like a PvP title because you get keys through PvP. Let me hit you with a news flash; PvP players do not give two shits about this title, because it has nothing to do with PvP achievments. They just want to sell keys and make gold.

GvG has capes and champ titles, HA has ranks, HB has individual ranking. I don't see what need there is for a new genuine elite PvP title, the gold will be more useful.
Some casuals (noobs) may be enticed to PvP their way through the first few ranks, and that's more beneficial to the long-state health of PvP than a monthly-winners-only title.

if in the MAT i have guessed half correct i would get 3000 Tournament points which is 600keys. For doing nothing but selecting random names. and each key would sell for at current rate 3000g. thanks anet for my 1.8mil gold
lets say people will pay 5k/key. Thats 3 Mil.
I would suggest that if you got keys sell em now while everyone is offering high prices because even at 3k a key the people playing the MAT are going to get stinkin rich
