A/E Master Sliver of Swiftness - HM Farming!
ReZDoGG
Perma Shadow Form builds just got better! Since the new skill balance update, Shadow Form now last for 32 seconds (38 seconds with 20% Enchant). With 32-38 seconds of Shadow Form, anything is just about possible for Assassin farming... There is no longer a need for using Arcane Echo for Perma Shadow Form builds. We can now use Glyph of Swiftness for Perma Shadow Form for more variety of farming builds for the great Assassins... This build is able to farm just about anything in Hardmode, including the Raptor Cave and many other great farming areas. It can also be the great for farming Bosses for Greens and Elite Tomes. Check it out and Enjoy.

================================================== ========
Counters: Knockdowns, AoE damage, Touch Skills, Signets, and some Monster Skills.
================================================== ========
Usage:
*Use Glyph Of Swiftness, Deadly Paradox, then cast Shadowform (Use this combo everytime to renew Shadowform and keep it up aslong as you want with ease).
*Use a running skill to pull enemies together (if you use one). Try pulling as many enemies as you can, and pull them around until they are really tight together for more effectiveness and faster farming.
*Use Glyph of Lesser Energy, cast Ebon Battle Standard of Honor, then Sliver Armor (you can use EBSoH before or after using Sliver Armor).
*Use Air of Superiority before enemies start dying to gain benefits, keep it up as much as possible.
*Keep up Shadowform at all times.
*Conserve energy when you need to... Use Glyph of Lesser Energy only after using Shadowform, so you don't cancel it out with Glyph of Swiftness.
*Repeat usage until all enemies are dead.
*Target and attack enemies if there are only a few left to keep them from running away from Sliver. Using Staff is recommended as you can wand them from a distance away and bring them back to Sliver.
================================================== ========
Tips:
*Try pulling as many enemies as you can, and pull them around until they are really tight together for more effectiveness and faster farming.
*Pull enemies near a wall or "choke" point to help keep them from fleeing. Usually try to keep a wall or ledge on their left side, or your right side (not full tested, just a theory that seems to work).
*You can use Glyph of Swiftness with Sliver Armor whenever you want, just make sure it is ready for next round of Shadow Form. This helps when there isn't as many enemies to kill quick enough and get Air of Superiority to recharge your skills.
*You can also use 15 Shadowarts and still keep Perma Shadow going. This can be useful for needing attribute points for other skills. 16 Shadow Arts just makes it that much more safe and fool proof to keep it going.
*It is also good to have a Running skill to pull enemies together such as farming the Raptor Cave. Using [Deaths Charge] and [Storm Djinn's Haste] are good for farming the Raptor Cave. I personally use Mindbender instead of Storm Djinn's Haste, as I got max Asuran rank. Storm Djinn's Haste can keep you from gaining energy when running long distance, which is not a good thing with the build.
*[Grasping Earth] is good for places that have alot of melee enemies that tend to flee, this will keep them around long enough to die by sliver.

Dual Farming (Hero build/s)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ranger (hero): This is a simple FS build that can be useful for farming places like Stygian Veil with enemies that use resurrection spells. I threw in EoE which might help in some areas, but of course you will need an AoE damage/degen skill for yourself to get enemies health down below 90% in order for EoE to trigger. Anything can be changed to fit your dualing situation. Toxicity and Pestilence are good when using Viper's Defense for places where degen can be effective against enemies. Be sure to flag hero, disable their skills, and pull enemies into range of spirits.

you forgot another strong optional skill. [intensity]
And you can still go perma with 15 shadow arts, that way you can up air magic to 4 if you want to swiftness sliver, w/out elemental power.

Well you can go 4 Air Magic if you don't use Glyph of Lesser Energy, but you will need some kind of energy management. If you have Air of Superiority, it will recharge your Sliver Armor alot if you are taking on alot of eneimes at once. Of course I will be adding stuff not mentioned... will keep it updated as often as I can. Since Glyph of Swiftness only has 10 recharge, and Shadow Form last so long.. You have plenty of time to use Glyph of Swiftness on Sliver whenver you want. You really only need to use Swiftness when there are alot less enemies alive, that way you can still help on keeping up Sliver.

Knew this combo was going to be perfect once I saw that SF was going to be buffed. Glad someone (that isn't me) put this much effort into making builds/options and farming possibilities. A lot of monsters are going to be dying...
Edit: Oh, and you have 3 points in Death Magic in the bar, not Deadly Arts.

That's why I don't use the official wiki. As I said, I just tested it, test it yourself if you want. Steps_Descending
Those SF farming build become so boring... Sure it works though.
Also... Hurray for unofficial wiki! CyclonicYoh
tested SF through Oola's lab level 2 with the fire turrets, the use fire darts and it doesnt hurt with SF on, but the golems use touch skills that hurt a lot... i think the poison gas turrets (not dart) get through SF tho
Resident
Even those ones in snowmen lair hurt...

Not tested yet, but I'm almost 100% sure you could easily solo the IDS run.

You can't keep SF up with E/A.

I'm sure about this and sure about this will rock but:
Rezzdog, can you explain me how will you farm margonites @ anguish? I mean... how will you deal with fire caused by dervish? how can you manage this with QZ? lol. A/E lacks the power of have many energy on the bar. I think that Dissenchantment removes the form as I cannot farm that Ranger boss just at cavalon's south exit with my e/A.. just because of Disenchantment planted by an Irukandi. And dungeons are protected from this, because of... touchers AND monks (i mean signets of course). For example, murakai dungeon has a lot of spirits.. someones being monks with rage signet (about.. 40 dmg on NM i think). Underworld seems to be clearable with a lot of assasins hehe. I only hate the spirit from behemoths. Other places than beach are not easily farmable, for example, in the forest there is the same spirit & touchers. Thinking about new farm rage! lol Koricen

Thinking about new farm rage! lol Well I listed stuff that might be possible, I have not yet to confirm them all. I was hoping people can help me on that part I just tried to think of all the place you can pull mass mobs together, I am sure some of them won't work like I thought, but only way to know for sure is for someone to test them. For some places you don't need a running skill, you can throw in a good heal of some kind, like [death's charge][heart of shadow][shadow refuge] or something else to reduce damage like [dark escape]. Spirit's attacks won't get through Shadowform. Any physical damage will be blocked no matter what... Only that gets through is Touch Skills, AoE damage, Traps, and so on. ReZDoGG

E/A will work, but only when Air of Superiority recharges all your skills, which isn't all the time. I tried it with just Glyph of Swiftness and DP, and there is a 1-2 second gap before you can renew SF... That is enough time to get you killed, but might be possible to survive in that short time on some monsters. Maybe Glyph of Swiftness, DP, and Essence of Clarity might do the job, but I don't think anyone would waste money on Essence, and I am not sure if they will all stack together... or what the max percentage you can get for recharge.
masta_yoda
50% is max isnt it?
anyways, echovald is a good area outside maatu keep ~ mass aggro the stone kirins/undergrowth etc also DRAGONS THROAT is good just keep dark escape + feigned on ragnagard

ahhh so it was that! lol. Then we can do some more things... ^^.
And then... tell us why we cannot do things like duncan... and it will be mooore interesting (even!) lol. Rezzdog, you can farm torment creatures at anguish, but ONLY groups of casters. For any strange reason, melee mobs have one sf-ignore skill. Also you can kill some shadows at fow, but not monks... if you go, sliver will target (99'99%sure) at the warriors... a pity. I like the spider cave test.. i should try it ^^. More things.. mmm spiders cannot be farmed in asuran zones, because of their web. It's a skill, i think. Maybe we are not talking about the same spiders lol. If i have to suggest, a Boss series farm ( i mean zones with a lot of bosses.. in a serie, lol). Nightfall or factions should rock. Maybe on gwen too. Hikeotron
Sorry i would test (uni firewalled internet), but does sliver amour and death blossom cause fleeing?
thinking more in the vein of UW, to speed up killing aatxes and such. Resident
Sliver does but not all the foes run away. I was testing it in fow and warriors seem to run away while all the other mobs stay where they are. Keep hitting the one which is hit by sliver armor then it won't run away. Unfortunately sliver lasts only 10 secs and i have no air of superiority cause I still need the quest for norn point farming.
Ragnagard: Technobabble. 5-6 seconds of dazed is enough if you're keep attacking them. Unfortunately sliver prefers the warriors but they run away, and most likely sliver will target the monk. ReZDoGG

Try pullin mobs up against a wall or edge to help keep them from fleeing. Seems keeping the wall on their left side works better... You can also use Grasping Earth to help keep them around long enough to be killed from sliver, or you can of course attack them with your staff to bring them back to finish them off. Actually, E/A has no time to recast. 30 recharge, 30 duration ;d Unless you have some way to make yourself invincible for 1-2 seconds, no way hose.
But Me/A works just fine. Abonai Laguna

Some dervish mobs especially bring PBAoE's like [zealous renewal], [heart of holy flame], or [grenth's fingers]. These can do massive damage especially in HM. There are also touch skills like Twisting Jaws that go right through SF. Try using some damage reduction skills like [dark escape], [feigned neutrality], or maybe [shadow sanctuary]. If those don't work, [Armor of Earth] can mitigate alot of those PBAoEs. Resident

If I'm lucky enough and sliver targets it, i can take it down with technobabble. 4secs of dazed is long enough to get interrupted all the woh. 33% silencing daggers? Would that help? Abedeus

Why you can't go and check... at 12 shadow mastery, it lasts 25 seconds, ~30 with +20% mod. So you have no time to recast it.

Just what I was about to say. I recently bought a stack of grails and I'm doing fine in UW with a slightly tweaked build. (E/A)
