Well, the only name that I really truly remember ... and only because I see their name win in HoH periodically, and the name is so funny it just sticks:

"Alcoholic Muppets has won a battle in the hall of heroes ..."

Makes me laugh every time, and I usually forget to fight and end up dying in whatever area I happen to be in.

they made it so you cant pull the charr to the rez shrine, making the only way possible to lvl the charr by doing it manually...

The only famous person on the GW world is Gaile Gray. But she works for ANET so that doesnt really count. But she does actually play GW. And a VERY distant 2nd might be the dude that runs the GW podcast called GuildCast. His name is Shawn and his character is Walmart Special. But they arent famous for their superior gameplay or anything. BEcause of the nature of this game, and how many people are playing it, you really cant stand out for exceptional play or anything. It's not a fighting game or FPS.

Corresponding to PvE i'd say Kago was the most famous.

I've never heard of him either. My vote for pve would still go to lulu.

Mister Bongo - name of a shop in london so i remembered him and famous pvper

only pve person i could anme off hand would be LBS and onyl eprson i cna think of that a fair few pve ppl would know would be pwoer of my rangers.

I dont know anny famous persons sometimes i wish i whas Famous but that whill never happen ^^.

annyway people cant really be ''famous'' in guildwars if you look at the facts famous people are most of the time rich and are getting payed for his/her work. These PvPers and PvEers that think they are famous arent it because of the simple fact.

They dont get payed for it

Back in May or so Lulu ascended a level 3 character and made a video of it. It was a pretty big deal at the time.

Kago and LuLu are about the most famous I know of in GW. They're so famous I know of them even though I'm in another realm...

You also seem to hang about the forums. That seems to make a difference. Fame is relative.
