Same here, fisrt run resulted in clear area: no riders, no collector, no nicho. In the second run he spawned there, along with the collector and the storm riders. No quests in the area, same group, same character, no restarts... Maybe if he shares the exact spawn point with the wind riders mob in that instance, none of them appear? Meh, sounds stupid, but can't find any reasonable explanation.

I really don't believe the rudeness of some people today! its utterly digusting being pm'd "F YOU" when u were unable to reply to someone yet when you reply to their WTS..thats considered bad

I thought it might be fun to catch a quest I missed "Unnatural Creatures". No nick, no collector. Avoid the urge to do it, I suggest.

I had no problems with nick, not only did he spawn, but wind riders spawned as well, i got the 4 in that run as well, i also had one...So i had no problems at all, but a friend of mind did, so its a very weird bug if anything.

I rezoned and tried again and Nick was there.

7 in one run, 5 minutes done and dusted. Easiest week ever apart from the ones where you can buy the collectible from a merchant.

Had 2 more no shows from Nick, one from Ranik and one from Serenity. 2 other times he was there. No quests any of those times.

One account nick spawned, other one hasn't spawned for 2 tries now (no quests active).
Edit: 4th try he spawned
It seems to be linked to the spawning of the storm rider on that exact spot indeed.

He seems to not spawn if the Devourers that come up on top of him don't spawn.
They are literally on the same spot.
25 test runs
Nick appeared 9 times. all 9 times the devourers spawned on him when I walked close.
16 times he didn't spawn. devourers didn't spawn for 15 of those times.
as you can see by the difference of 1 in my last line, its not perfect, but its my best guess.

Sounds like it is time for a patch as I have went in 12 times without a single quest active in ascalon(Canthan born player) and still no spawn =\

Friend of mine had the same, nightfall char and nick didnt spawn. Took a prophecies char and there he was.

1st account - both my bf and I had Prophecies born chars, Nick appeared first try.
2nd account - again both had Prophecies born chars, Nick took twice to appear.
3rd account - went alone with a Prophecies born char and took 5 tries to get Nick to appear. My little ranger's legs are tired!
Neither of us had any Ascalon quests active.

I find this weeks quest too easy. I got 17 eyes before I even got to Nick who btw spawned the very first time behind the ruins through the archway opening and to the right. Only 1 eye per gift? It should have been 5 since they are so easy to solo and drop.

I've tried once with a Factions toon. I have no quests active and I have the Tyrian vanquisher title. No Nick. Will try again later today and see what happens. Any word on why this is happening?

I had trouble of him appearing on another account and so did an Elementalist. We went in, no spawn. Got my husband there and all three of us went in, and he finally spawned.

Confirmed, he's there. I think easiest it to start in Elona Reach, head out into Diviner's Ascent. Then go northwest, to Salt Falts. In Salt Flats, keep north to find the transporter. Take it and he's next to the one on the other end

I found there are many Scarab popups between Nick and the portal to Diviners. It's a convenient place to farm.

I know the Seeker Passage is a good alternative. But after looking at my own accounts I found I have it on only a few characters.
