Sadly we made these wammo builds to be terrible and piss some people off in AB, Now i dont know whats more sad, the fact that people get pissed at us whenever we show up

So I was in a pug that was going to do some UW, balanced. Before we entered, everyone pinged builds, and the monk had a regular WoH heal bar. No prot skills – keep that in mind.

As expected, he didn’t resign, and I just mapped out to my guild hall. The following conversation ensued immediately after in alliance chat. Ally 1 is the same Ally 1 who was in the pug with me. Ally 2 was not in the group.

The stupidest thing I heard was a typical chaos glove sin saying that because of anets SF/600 nerf nobody has a chance to get titles like legendary skill hunter because there's just no way.

Anet still doesn't realize how many terrible players in this game are sitting on stacks of ectos and have no idea how this game works.

I have to say... my worst one was one I was playing... and I was the idiot. I shall enlighten you.

We actually fought well... lost... but fought well. I was never invited to go again...

I was sorting my Xunlai chest in Kamadan a couple of weeks or so ago.

Normally I don't pay attention to local chat but the warrior standing next to me started spouting short sentences in all caps. First he was complaining about the wasd movement keys, then the fact that space didn't make him jump.

I realized of course that he had become accustomed to another game and asked if he'd been away for a while. He confirmed that and being in a chatty mood and having some time to kill while waiting for a friend, I offered to help him out if he needed some questions answered or some actual help.

...Now, I should mention that he was wearing a mix of primeval armor and fow armor. So, obviously his char had to have completed nightfall and at least made a trip into the fow.

After about 30 minutes of answering his questions, he said he was good to go. No more questions.

Fine by me. His attitude had been really rather obnoxious from the beginning anyway.

Next thing I saw were the words: "DPS TANK OR HEALER LFG!"

I had just spent 20 minutes on explaining why warriors don't make particularly good tanks due to the gw aggro system and how horrible their energy management is for monking.

Other highlights of the conversation were:

A: You wouldn't gain any advantage from jumping. The game simply doesn't need that mechanic.

Q: LOL WHY NOT SPACE MAKE ME JUMP!

A: Space means use or attack current target.

...I have seen stupider things in gw, but that guy was something special.

I was doing the Vizunah Square mission in NORMAL MODE (I hate this mission for this very reason). I had a nice level 20 monk, an ER Protter, a necro, and a ritualist hero. I got to the part where the other guy joins my team. We walks up to me and posts:

"U has starter armor. Sorry not with u."

And he bails on me!

I of course rolled through just fine with his left behind henchies.

Ain't no thang brah, baddies will be bad.

A while back a guy in post Ascalon (of course) was going around asking all the people that where playing female elementalists if they would come and take their armor off and dance and he would pay them for it.

Really has all the free internet porn become that boring to him?!?!

I always try to imagine the kind of person who sits behind the computer, whacking off to all the sexy Rangers and Elementalists grinding around.

That reminds me of one time in Pre-Searing, there was a female Ele naked and doing the generic dance, and spamming "I'll be your slave for 10g" (or something like that). Sad thing is, some Wammo actually bought her off.

There was this other time on Pre that I was playing a girl Ranger. I was in one of those dance parties when this guy keeps rubbing up on me and PMing me to "come with him". I get this all the time and I usually ignore them, but this time, just for shits and giggles, I actually "go with him".

He takes me to the back wall of the lake in Ascalon City (I felt like a two-cent hooker lol), and is like "take ur clothes off. dance" So I do it and start doing my nasty Ranger dance he just sits there quietly for about five minutes, not saying a single word, just watching. o_o And then he moves up on me, takes his clothes off, and just stands there so it looks my Ranger is grinding his crotch. And again, he doesn't say a single word and just sits there unmoving for 5-10 minutes. I can only guess what he was doing on the other side of the computer.

Then he tells me to switch to my Elementalist so I do that, and again, he positions himself and makes me dance naked with my boobs all up in his chest, and he still doesn't say anything. At this point, I start getting kind of creeped out but luckily he has to go. Then I leave.

Sad thing is, to this day, he still PMs me asking me to "come with him". I ignore him, though. I mean, WTF? Really? Go watch some porn, dude!

yeah, once i stood in d'alessio seaboard on my warrior wearing elite kurzick and some guy started hitting on me. these guys tend to look like this:

I'm a guy (if my screen name josh5813 wasn't a give away) and one of my characters is a female elementalist. It gets so tiresome when a male characters comes up to me and starts hitting on me do to my character I'm playing. When I tell them I'm a guy they usually log off or map out since I tend to say that in local chat.

But every so often one will say something along the line of "Oh man you a truly sad if you are a guy playing a female character." To which I say "Well I don't need the masculinity pat on the back everyday by playing a generic buff out male warrior."

Never get why people assume that guys don't want to play female characters. If I'm going to be playing this game for hours on end, I might as well be staring at the hind end of one of my beauty's than some dude (especially since Guild Wars characters are considerably anthropomorphic compared to many other games). Only now, am I finally rolling some male characters to finally get a little armor variety.

I'm sorry but to the majority that rely on ''the ass excuse''. Then why are you watching the male rear anyways?


OT, I heard a monk in JQ today say that reversal of damage heals better than WoH......Fruitful people. Guild Wars is full of them

Another thing that get annoying is when people new to the game get run to Droknar's Forge then go around trying to bum money to buy elite armor.

Most people I see going around saying "I can't wait for Guild Wars 2" are players who haven't really even played the first game. They depend on runs and hand outs to get them by the game.

I personally love the original, but does it have its faults? shortcomings? Yes, and they are plenty. Do I mind them so much? not particularly. I like the game for what it is, and it's storyline and wait eagerly for the second installment of the franchise.

Some guy wanted me to kick out a player so he can get in. Told him that I couldn't do that because he was a healer and he went on to ping me his bar and told me that he can replace the other healer.

I only relied on two runs to get me past the Ruins of Morah & the Tahnnakai Temple mission.

But back to the topic post Ascalon is a good place to hear stupid crap like low lvl players asking for high lvl item to be just given to them.

i say i cant wait for gw2 but thats doesnt make me less of a players. i gotten and gives runs but that doesnt mean i dont know how to play. Nor have i begged for money i earned ever dime i had! just because one person begs doesnt mean all do. on topic i was in tihark setting up for todays boss and this war was begging for help to kill these guys for bonus said it would only take 3minutes to do lols. 30 minutes later he is still at it. makes me wonder if he ment the zb or the tihark bonus. o.o
