Player A wants to buy Weapon for 100k (Weapon is only worth ~25k)
Player B is selling Weapon for 50k
If you ask why Player B won't sell to Player A, they make up some sort of excuse like "They won't come to my district and I can't get to theirs so I'll just sell it to you and you can make the profit, IDC." and then when you go to sell it to Player A, they've both disappeared?
I've been sort of paranoid about that for years. :S

I remembered another crazy, craaazy experience that I had to go through. Some ele dude was asking why a warrior dude left his party in presearing. The warrior kept using emotes to communicate with me (apparently he was playing the demo) and the ele was still whining and starting to say he was in love with the random warrior. The war added me to his party, we got everything sorted out and I ported us to another outpost. I told him how to set the ele on ignore so he could't harrass him in PM. I sent the ele a PM telling him he was being creepy and desperate and I never heard from him again. *sigh*
There's hundreds of times I've seen something stupid in GW, too many to think about right now late at night when I still have homework to do.

Saw two people trying to raise the price of some item. Trying and failing, of course.
Player 1: WTS Droknar's sword 20k.
Player 2: WTB Droknar's sword 20k.
(this went on for 3 minutes, usually with their posts right next to each other's)
I finally PM'd player 2 and asked why he didn't buy from player 1. His response "I don't like him"
Player 1: WTS Droknar's sword 20k.
Player 2: WTB Droknar's sword 20k.

The prices have dropped significantly since I posted that. At the time 40-45k a stack was the norm. I agree they are considerably less right now due to supply. I did sell my stack almost instantly with multiple offers when I posted the WTS.

*completed bonus and went on to complete the mission*
Him: We need to go back for more seeds
*He started to run back to the start*
Me: Wait, there are seed flowers right in that small passage
*That passage where you have 2 seed flowers to grow exactly 2 bridges to get to the bloodstone, he looks exactly the other way*
Him: I don't see it.
Me: Turn around.
Him: We need to go back.
Me: Look in front of you.
Him: I don't see any seeds (he literally, literally stood in front of 2 big flowers)
Me: You're supposed to click on them in order to pick one up.
Him: Oh ok, But do we have enough?
From that point on, all I could do was laugh at my screen :P
