The drop rate is pathetic.

It would be nice if it was better, so people can have that mini without having to shell out hundreds upon hundreds of ectos for it. Not everyone is uber rich

Or if they do expect people to pay that much, then make quests pay more, make monsters drop more gold, and don't nerf farming builds (I don't wanna start a farming nerf debate here, just saying)... >_<

It's such a cute mini, what a shame it drops like this

So either they reduced the drop rate, or they arn't dropping yet.

No proof of someone getting one, no one selling in game or on here.

Last year there were atleast a handful of of threads trying to sell one.

In Lions Arch someone was selling an unded Polar Bear for 550 e, I dont have a screenshot but that doesent mean that the seller got it this year, for all we know he or she got it last year and is trying to sell it.

Anyone who uses GWG knows that posting a mini polar would be stupid as they would get offered very little, confirming the price has decreased. People on GWG would save the polar till at least june to sell.

I'm not quite sure you understand. Just becuase they get one doesn't mean they have to sell it cheap. They can still sell it at the price it has been for a while. Also, this thread is for people to give proof that they got one, not to sell it. That means even if they do get one, they might not want to sell it.

People are talking about it dropping and if it drops people sell it... which isn't the case always but some posters feel like using this as "evidence".

Traders aren't going to post their MPB drops. No one wants to confirm it to avoid tanking the price. Especially at the current rumor of 500e. If it is indeed 500e at this time traders are simply going to hold onto their mini's to create an artificial supply shortage so in the upcoming months they can inflate the price back to where they want it to be. It bares resemblance to Diamonds in real life. Create a supply shortage, prices go up, and profit!

It wouldn't/doesn't surprise me if power traders would stop by this thread to kind of "soften" the blow with subtle hints in an attempt to keep prices in check to the best of their personal interests. It's in their interest to keep their investment of 1500e+ on last years MPB to continue to pay off.

105 in at the time of this posting and I was the largest single contributor to the wiki data set (1150) last year. Nothing yet, so if people are being purposefully deceptive about their drops to make money then kudos, they are doing an excellent job

Yes because everybody trying to farm this is a hardcore power trader refusing to let the community know they're dropping due to economic reasons. Let's get real. I know if I had one drop for me, I would be eager to brag about my find and be the one to confirm it.

I'm aiming for 1-2 piles of shards a day from my attempts and hoping I get a MPB. But seeing my luck with Nicholas and with Zaishen chest I don't think I quite have the golden touch needed. I think last year I ended up with 25 CCS stacks or so and no bear. At least I'll be making a nice dent in my husband's sugar/party/booze titles.

Please note that when the MPB was expected to cost 1000e, each ecto was worth 4.5k, seeing it is now at 6k/7k it is obvious that the MPB will cost less ectos without decreasing value.. if you know what I mean

Still can't see, but if it's the same person that was selling for 550e for the past 8 hours or so I'm gonna call shenanigans. Too many people are taking advantage of the confusion, trying to tank prices in an attempt to come out of this with a very, very, very cheap MPB.

Monk is what I did yesterday and works well (healing and knockdown), that or Warrior for speed. You don't really need damage unless you want to do the fight at the end rather than afk by the door.
Doing Mesmer this year for survivor and found the interrupt handy for hitting the icicle snare the Icy Grenths use.

I found ele the best, for the little bit of fighting, icicle is a great pain-giver..though the para shout is also great for getting quick shots in..Either of those 2.

Any profession can just use Hidden rock at the start. Works just as well (if you need it).

If you're going to fight, Ranger is good - Flurry does AoE damage, and even 1-on-1 you get an advantage due to 0.75sec cast, instead of 1sec cast on snowball for the same damage.

I only have two accounts, so the fight on one account usually isn't over by the time I've run the other account to the door. So I'll usually wade into the fight at the end. The enemies are bunched by that time... wait til a snowman rezzes to distract them, run in, Ice Fort, and Flurry will massacre them.

Three accounts or more, and you'll just be running... and picking up. Doesn't really matter what profession you use.

I wonder if it's going to be like last year again... Namely, if you don't get a drop by your 100th run, then don't even bother.
