The first year fluffy's dropped there were like ~5 confirmed drops.
And not to mention it took a about a week to confirm it actually dropped from THAT chest since nobody believed it without seeing evidence.
Since people started running from the very first minute something tells me we should have seen a lot more drops by now

it's pretty much a crapshoot.. I haven't even been farming it lately.. well might as well get in a few runs right now.. I think hanging upside down on a swingbar might help.. make sure you rub the screen right when you open the chest

Also, it's not like the grind is the least bit required, and you're still profiting pretty nicely from those runs if you sell the consumables. I've done a little more than 100 runs and have gotten about 900 sweet points, a few hundred party points, and enough booze to net me quite a bit of money.
I've probably gotten about 7 Yuletide drops in those 100 runs.

I think there were 4 "reported" no screen shots (3 from same Guild) lol
with 1 having a Screen shot but I'm still doubtful if it was this years.
Most of the ones I have seen in towns people said they got them last year or bought them in trade.
I play on Euro servers so can't comment whats going down in AM dist.

According to Gaile's past posts, the Mini is available from the Chest the entire festival, so we could rule out the possibility of it not being findable until a certain day.
I just hope they didn't stop the Mini from dropping and forgot to warn players and Community Relations (just like they forgot/didn't want to to tell us it was enabled back in 2007).

I reported one and verified it myself. A guildie had one on his 5th run the lucky s o b. He's done 80 runs more but hasn't gotten another one (luckily 
). He still has it and it's undedicated. The guy is poor (in no way has 1500+ ectos to buy an unded one) so he really got it from the chest.

I mad 230 runs.. yes 230 runs and no MPB. I star doubting does it really drops. And when i read stories like somebody got that shit on 5th run i think i'll go mad

Over 11 stacks of shards so far, quit for a couple days, been busy with wife and child. Still no MPB. Averaging about 17-20 shards per run (including the five from the reward), that is over 100 runs. Discouraged but still hold out hope for one before the end. If not, well I got lots of gifts and other goodies.

Ugh, I've done so many runs, since the beginning of the festivities and it's just not dropping. This drop rate is frustrating.
Though, I'm taking breaks here and there. When I do the dungeon quest I usually use my rock candy to speed things up. Skipping all the groups of grentches, fighting when the grentch-pops get in my way, then going all out on the waves. Rinse and repeat. Gives me about 2-5 minute runs per. But it does get tiring.
No luck yet.

I actually run strenght of snow for cc shards. Gave up on mini polar bear last year. Chances are absolutely random though. It could drop on the second run, or it could not drop even after 500 runs.

This dropped for me on the "25th" of December. Swear to god. Took me about 60 runs on 2 accounts combined. I have stopped doing runs because I know I won't get another one. Besides it's boring as hell.
Since I already sold my MPB here is a screen shot of it dropping. Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture of it still on the ground with my name on it because I was so excited and in a hurry.
PS. There's no secret or myths on how or when the Polar will drop. It's like the lottery. The odds are always stacked against you but if you don't play you can't win.

Congrats to the FEW people that did get the bears, I'm giving up now!!!
I just opened the 1000+ gifts that I got from the shards doing this and have no clue how many it was but I know it was over 500 runs {sadly I still think one will drop "next time" HAHAHA} but me and my gwen doll give up now. and yes I took her out for each run {for luck}
now to go make a few thousand snowmen and get fat on fruitcakes!!!

Had 18 stacks of shards when I started trading them in, have earned another pile or two since (so about 300 runs I think). No bear. Still another day so I might try a few more times. Drop rate is way too low on these things.
At least I got my husband's party title maxxed and after some dying on shrines I'll get the sugar title done!
