I agree with the basic message of this the only change i would make is change to spawning attribute i having everyone running the same bar thinking a for example warrior is more useful as a SoS spammer then a tank/damage dealer especcially when professions other then rit cant make spirits that are able to take a hit

Well, ritualists had been the core flag runner for years and they have not seen any play this year. I guess they are just restoring equilibrium. Also, keep in mind that all professions should see play in both PvE and PvP. That's why they're working on dervish (and then paragon) updates.

Heal Party is more or less in the same zone as Divine Healing/Heaven's Delight. I guess they wanted to nerf party heals. On the flip side you don't need HB to make it not interrupt bait... so you can run it on a bar with WoH or w/e.

I have no idea why Healing Burst was made that way. Assuming you run 14 or DF the heal is about 45-50. That's about the same as Divine Healing. Worthy of an elite? That's up for debate

Spear warrior nerf in terms of enraging charge, and no more adrenaline gain before actually hitting. I guess it is to stimulate use of "To the limit!", though that is unlikely.

EDIT: preliminary test of Mimicry-ed HB and UA with Healing Burst: it doesn't get boosted.

PvPers: You now have no party heals that recharge often, unless you run protective was Kaolai and Heal party. UA divine Healing /Heaven's delight doesn't work in pvp.

This function was added because many guilds would run a R/Rt in the past to use signet of binding on the opposing recuperation to put further pressure on them and totally negating a significant part of the opposing party's party healing.

TL: DR a good nerf to the bad consequences of hybridization.

The issue with Ritualists was not entirely whether they could party heal, but whether they could stand up to a split with an assassin. I don't know how well they tested for this, but otherwise monk runners would just be forced into Heal Party+Light of Deliverance.

I really feel that earshot is a range for midliners, so at least they caught possible abuses for Healing Burst if the skill fails (off specs without DF, and smiters).

Because nerfing overpowered things is bad? The hammer adren engine has been pretty out of whack since NF release. Enraging is still a bit dumb, and Flail also needs to be hit a bit, but it's a step in the right direction.

And before you get pissed off, nerfing the hammer adren engine means Aura Stabil can also be killed.

Keep in mind your party members still need to be in earshot of target.

I have also noticed loading some files in areas if you don't -image. Maybe they snuck in some graphics for a future update.

From a PvE perspective I like the idea of using healing burst for MM/Spirit parties.

And believe it or not I'm actually pretty happy they changed barbed signet to work on all necro skills so we could use it with Necrosis now, there was just no real reason to make the PvE version spell only, it's not like bleeding is that useful in PvE anyways.

This. Apparently Heal Party's range was mistakenly changed to approximately spirit range, and this third update just fixed it. But I do not know what else it did.

I'm kinda bugged that mesmer skills didn't get nerfed enough. For pvp use, it would have been great if there was either a shorter duration, or if a limit to how many times it activates had been introduced.
