So which of those 7 hero builds are working?
FengShuiDove
N/Mo AotL "Prot Bomber"
Mo/Me RoJ "Smite Support"
N/Rt IV "Icy Resto"
Rt/N SoS + Bloods "Blood Spirits"
P/* SF "Furious Buffer"
Me/* Panic "Mob Shutdown"
N/Rt PoD "Painful Debuffs"
<3
With me as physical damage, I get all the buffs and do huuuegg damage while my party sits comfortably above 90% health most of the time.
1.5 hour FoW, cleared almost everything, no cons, and even made some mistakes along the way since it's been a while since I've been.

Does anyone know where I can get that GW team builder program from? I've tried going to the website, but the download link wont work.

Being too lazy to figure out hero builds myself (I like making my own, but the kinds of builds I make are never the kinds the AI can understand), I did about 10 minutes of digging on PvX and found this build: http://www.gwpvx.com/User:Relyk/Sand.../Team_-_7_Hero. It's been working pretty well for me - with unruned heroes and my Olias still brand new at lvl 15 I've been facerolling through all areas of NM. We'll see how it goes once I get to HM. There might be some improvements on it but I'm liking how it's working right now.
Verene
Nothing special, just generic builds I was already using on various heroes...all combined into one team. The Dervish is me, obviously.
Also I like putting the elite skills in the first slot on my hero builds, apparently.

I have more things I want to play around with, as well. This does work quite well, though, so yay.

Been trying this build out with my Imba.
Dude broke the damn game. Just did Varesh, Shiro, Abbadon and Selkbath with it in about 10 minutes for all 4 of them.

Frankly I'm most interested in creating a makeshift 'singers of woe' style paragon team using 3 paragon heroes, a R/P, ER orders, N/Mo MM, and something else I have not decided (mesmer, most like) on an imbagon player
spray04
Alrite, slightly modified version. Just absolutely pwned some dungeons with this; by far best build I've had.
UnseenStoic
i really only play on dervish and war, but with both I've just combined mesway with sabway, turned 1 MM into a curses hero, plus an SoS Rit...
Drizzt The Sin
So this is what im using, made most of the builds except the bottom 3 and mine so their can prolly be some improvements made but it works really well so far. Rolled through yesterdays ZV and the deep hm (until the pads in room 6 which I didnt remember needed someone else to do....)
Daesu
This is what I finally ended up with for my Elementalist:
You can swap out ST for SoGM if you prefer that.

Was about to pull you up for having 8 heroes Daesu - then I realised your character was at the bottom, not the top :P

I've been running
1 SoS Rt
2 Disco/Healers both with minions.
1 SS/Condition Nec
2 Keystone Signet mes.
1 St Communing Rt
1 Rest/Channeling Rt.
Been working really well, C+space. kinda gets boring though lol

Currently using:
Dual Fall Back = mandatory.
However, my current main is a ritualist, so I'm usually running SoS myself.
What I'd really like is a third mesmer hero for another Domination hero, ESurge probably. A third necro doesn't really add anything. The two or three Curses spells can be tacked on another character, they don't even need more than around 5 Curses, higher Curses only lengthens hex/condition and doesn't make them more powerful. More than an AotL and a resto necro is unneeded. ESurge domination would be much better than Discord. Anyway, I'm currently settling for the third necro, or sometimes a smiter.

Replace the Inep guy for an ESurge then. Cry of Frustration beats Wastrel's Worry in terms of usefulness. WW just burns their energy away; CoF is a useful AoE interrupt.
Not much of a fan of the Paragon in there either.
Also Icy Veins; zzz...

Nothing I can replace Icy Veins with. Xinrae's or Remedy is a bit pointless, at least this adds (AoE) dmg with a 5 sec recharge.
Paragon for Spirit, Minion and Party support.
I used to look down on para heroes. Not any more. Have you tried one?
I'd add something like:
[ESurge, Cry of Frustration, Wastrel's Demise, Unnatural Signet, Shatter Hex/Enchantment, Power Drain, WnWn, Optional]
I could replace the Ineptitude mes with it, but the Inep is actually very helpful. 3 mesmers would be the sweet spot I think. It'd at least be better than 3 necros.

Just facerolled my way through a Mount Qinkai vanq with that Relykway build (Olias finally dinged 20 but I still don't have any runes for any of them) and my ele on her typical air/daggers build (it's not brilliant and certainly isn't the most efficient or practical but it's fun, dang it).
From what I'm seeing, 7 hero is roflpwn in like 75% of situations unless you're a complete idiot in making your builds.

Just a note in case you didn't know. Only players need to be level 20 to be able to do HM, hero level doesn't matter. HM will only level the hero faster

Just C-Spaced my way through Vloxen and Slaver's today, and I can pretty much say that anything more than 1.5 protters/healers is overkill (okay, maybe a bit more, if you count my Smiter hero with Smite Hex/Condition).
Currently running:
Warrior main (not SY! spamming)
Panic Mes
SoS/Resto Rit
Communing Rit (Damage spirits with ST for speed)
Curse Necro (second SW here)
Smiter (Judge's and SoH)
AotL Necro (w/ Mark of Fury)

As soon as I find a stupid build maker download link that works...
Probably going to be adjusting it though, because my Curse Necro doesn't seem to be as helpful as I want (especially with Judge's). Might try swapping for a Commandgon.

Haven't done too much yet, but did VQ Sacnoth Valley and Grothmar Wardowns last night on my E/A Promise Nuker. Also used it to finish WiK.(finally)
Grabbed 7 heroes I already had setup:
N/rt Healer
2x N/Mo MM Bomber
Rt/ SoS
Rt/ SoGM
Mes/ Panic
Mes/ Psych
I'm sure I can do far better with some more thought, but this was pretty easy as is.

I found that if you use this as the base of a Hero teambuild, you can add whatever you want.

I've had similar experiences with my curser, considering the only curses that actually gain power when having a high curse attribute score is the ones where you have to be lot of physicals to actually put them to good use. Too bad minions doesn't follow focus target, that would be seriously wicked with a curser though.
Anyways, looking forward to see what you put together since I've been experimenting with a similar setup as well!

Hey any builds that don't require EOTN? It seems all the good synergies need either three of the same profession or EOTN skills... I have all campaigns but EOTN.

Xenomortis
So I quickly vomited up two hero setups after the update, one for my Nec (who hasn't run AP-MoP in a solo setting for a long time) and the other for my Assassin. Did a few runs in Slaver's and tweaked a few things, but I was just regurgitating some of my saved builds and altering a couple of skills.
Necromancer: http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/1...p7hsetup01.jpg
Assassin: http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/3...erosetup02.jpg
Monk has 1+2 Heal, +1 DF and +1 Prot (for 5 second breakpoint on SoA).
Divine Intervention because I can't think of anything else particularly useful. Prot Spirit used to be there but drained energy a bit (and was largely redundant) and I didn't want a third energy skill. Could slot another hex removal as required I suppose...
Can't decide between PwK and Spirit Light on the Nec's setup (PwK all the way for the Assassin).
Two backliners on my Assassin because I'm not entirely convinced I can get away with one. Maybe I can, but as a melee phys I find myself drawing a lot of attention that tends to overwhelm one. Meh, maybe I just need to tighten up what I'm doing; it's a lot of defense. I don't feel lacking offensively though.
Can't fully decide between the Curses-Chann hybrid on the Sin's template or if I should go for a Blood-Curses hybrid with OoP and MoP. Splinter and AR get used on minions too and it's hard for OoP to keep up so I'm leaning heavily toward the Curses-Chann guy.
I'll get round to making hero teams for my other characters at some point when my coffers aren't looking to sparse.

Get EotN. It's got some fun things to do in there, you get the lol-OP PvE only skills as well as more heroes. PvE skills aren't a requirement to do things, but they're damn useful and tend to find their way onto all the human meta builds.
For the time being, try to identify acceptable substitutes (not many builds have EotN skills as core skills).

Why not both? Just switch FomF for PwK. Do you really need more than three resses?

More than 3 necros is a waste because Discords usefulness stops at 3. After that you get much more benefit from adding 2 mesmers and 2 rits, feel free to change the builds around however you like.
3 necs, 2 mesmers, and 2 rits steamrolls everything in the game.
Theres two different options for it, Discordway, or SS + SV + MM.
Also, I notice a lot of people using Icy Veins on their N/Rts. That skill is nowhere near as powerful as Discord would be instead, even if you only have it once because Ice Veins deals cold damage. All elemental based damage is beyond hopeless in HM.
After a lot of play testing with th 3 nec, 2 mes, 2 rit setup, I refined my builds to the following two, one is for discordway, the other for SS + SV depending on whichever one you prefer. I've only used the SS + SV builds in UW so far, with the MM removed for a UA monk, but the mesmers and rits are the staple of the builds, not the necros. If you are an elly bonder, the build works as it is. If you play a rit, go as a Soul Twister prot rit because its easier to control the defensive spirits yourself than it is with the AI just randomly spamming them. If you play any other class, change the communing rit to a soul twister prot:
Discordway:
SS + SV + MM:
I prefer jagged bomber on a normal MM build, aura of th lich works great too.
I also forgot that when I added fragility to the illusion mesmer, I also had Weaken armor + oppressive gaze to make better use of it. I'd swap both Shatter Hex and Fragility on each mes to Hex Eater Signet instead on those two mesmer builds, and they make a pair of solid staple builds that work with anything else.

All my team builds are made with up to 4 characters in mind. This is so that this leaves 1 slot for my character, 1 slot for a character with a counter build, and 2 slots for my heal/prot heroes.
The following are the team builds I tried. Nearly all of them work very good:
- Barrage build with Order of the Vampire, Splinter Weapon, etc. Stuff that a lot of players are familiar with I'm sure.
- Strength and Honor with A heroes using Locust's Fury along with Order of the Vampire and Splinter Weapon.
- Avatar of Dwayna build with 3 D heroes carrying this. This is actually not that good. I thought this would lead to a constant spam of party healing. The heals rarely come when needed and over heal more often than not. I may just end up deleting this team build.
- Builds that focus on knock down. Hammer Warrior, Stoning, Wanderlust, etc. causing constant knock downs.
- PWNage build. It's a Paragon with Infuriating Heat, Go For the Eyes, and a pet. Warriors with adrenal skills. A Necro who is a minion master. :P
- Frustration based build where my group is constantly interrupting both spell casters and martial characters. Very good in HM. Useless in NM. Enemies die before Frustration deals much damage in NM.
- 3 Paragon heroes using Defensive Anthem. They do a good job not overlapping. Very awesome against martial enemies. Not so much against casters.
There are still a lot of team builds I haven't tried yet. I'm mostly focusing on getting Keiran (8 more characters left) as well as getting equipments for the merc heroes on all my characters. Getting weapons and runes for another 80+ heroes = i r broke.
