lol, I bought a sup rune before going to school, when I get back from school I farmed some ettins and what do I get?
A Superior Absorbation! I sold the one that dropped and only lost 10k on the whole deal

I made a build were it takes out 3 ettin 24-30 seconds and you can easily take on 6. It's W/R I'll post the build and video when I get home (my teacher is coming) to make this better, try to guess it. I'll post a vid of it too.

Hey there, I've done this run perhaps 20 times, and I got only 2 superior runes(air and water magic) and around 10 purple major runes. I've tried it with my lvl 20 SS necro and lvl 20 Nuker. (I like this is the warrior section)

My question is does it matter if you farm w/ henchies? And are drops enhanced in anyway? I would like to know, because I just want 1 sup vigor rune.

If you have one hench you'll only get half of the drops, if you take 2 you'll get two thirds etc. Henchies are VERY bad for farming.

I've always had pretty crappy luck with them. My first night I found a Superior Healing and a Superior Vigor, but since then I haven't really found anything worth mentioning. When it comes down to it...for ME...they aren't worth the time. For the time spent, doing FoW or something is much more profitable for me...not to mention much less tedious, lol.

Yea, Levi got it right. You could swap out WY! for anyting you want healing sig is only used after there dead.

Galrath Slash
Final Trust

I have 14 swordmanship (major), 12 healing and 5 strength (1 minor and knight helm)
I use sundering gladius of fortitude (gold) 15^50, 10/8, +27 hp and malinons shield.
Is this a good ettin build?

when i ever get gold pauldrons, i always get purple runes, for the last 3 golds i got purple runes

it really sucks......

I mean i get umm, go back to beetletun, use a Superior Salvage kit on them, then i superior identify them.... Im not doing anything wrong am i ???

its just really makin me mad, like after 10 runs i get crap, and as you can see, lucky Stockholm goes out on first run and get a superior vigor........ stuff like that makes me upset

You could swap out WY for Dolyak and bring Desperation blow. You won't kill 'em as fast without hundred blades, but it will still be pretty fast.

the build i use is all offence , it has 1 105 heal during a entire fight with 3 ettins and i take double dmg through frenzy , but yet it rapes them in under 8 secs per ettin.
I think you did mean 9 in strenght ?

By the way DFNP, I'm using nearly the same built as yours but, It's even better know with my perfect Zealous sword of defense (15^50 - Energy +1/-1 - Armor +5) and also victos bulwark (but not mandatory in my opinion).

my built now is :

sever artery
gash
galrath slash
final thrust
hundred blades
frenzy
live vicously
sprint

Thanks to the sword I allways have energy so, Frenzy is on all the time and I can use undred blades as soon as it is recharged, it's really really fast...

Warriors are too slow at farming Ettins. Just a friendly FYI...There are other builds that can farm 3-4 times faster.

is it just me or are 90% of the build here over healed.

i've seen mending, breeze and vig spirit all in one skill bar!!!!

personally i run a simple warrior only build

Warrior/*

- Sprint (Strength)
- Sever Artery (Swordsmanship)
- Gash (Swordsmanship)
- Galrath Slash (Swordsmanship)
- Final Thrust (Swordsmanship)
- Flurry (Warrior other)
- "For Great Justice!" (Warrior other)
- Healing Signet (Tactics)

may not be perfect but since i'm not using another class i can pump up strength and swords for max damage.

just run in shout and stance then as the adrenalin build deal the damage.

most ettins drop by the time i've used the four sword skills and standard attacks.

heal up at the end of a mob and move on.

dont feel no pain <----- his build LMAO. Yes, that is SLOW. You can kill one Ettin in 5-8 seconds? Great, there are builds that can kill 10 Ettins in 5-8 seconds all at once.

That build may be quicker than other warrior builds, but that's all it has going for it.

I only compared other builds because Prince decided to "prove" his build was godly somehow.

I use a plain old pure warrior build and its quite fast.
Flurry
Distracting Blow
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Sprint
Watch Your Self
Dlylok Signet
Healing Signet

You don't even need monk secondary. I kill a group of 3-4 ettins before my health even gets close to the 50% mark and healing sig heals for 130 so its fine.
Ettins go down in about 8-10 second if I forget to disrupt their healing signet other then that they fall like flies.

no it works on 3 ettins for me

sure irristable blow does about 60 dmg but i pretty much never die using the build

(do not use healing sigit during battle)

its a matter of kill or be killed ^_^

I started Ettin-farming today, hurray for me! I've done about 5-6 runs, unfortunately no gold drops yet, but 4 purples. I'm trying the conjure flame build, and I can do the mending-live vicarously build. They both work for me, although i have the feeling that I'm playing with my death when I'm doing the conjure flame build. Though it is faster.
Now all I got to wait for is a superior Vigor/Absorption.

Ah, was just wondering. Early this morning the game booted me for the maintenance thing so I checked update and the site mentioned something about a group from Canthia moving into and taking over Nebo. Just thought they had nerfed it. Guess not.
