Chest Farming

I was just wondering if chest farming is a banable offence, or does it just count as regular farming, because i did it for about 5 mins and made 1.2k, but i dont want to do it if i could get banned.

Farming in general is not banned. Just the use of bots and other resources that are not part of the programing of the game.... Think of it like this, do you really think you could get 60,000 Gold by just doing regular missions? Even through Ascencion? If you did, I think your not thinking straight. Beside when they put in the Rune Traders they killed the Market on the product.(Must have been an excutive decision, come on 1 superior rune of Vigor is 60K+)

ok, thanx, chest farming it is for me then . i just hope they dont think im using a bot kus i do the same thing over and over for 5 mins at a time, i think ill just say stuff every now and then.

They only ban bots that have been doing the same thing for hours, 5-15 minutes wont hurt you.

I do every now and then. Makes good money. You can get about 6k+ in an hour if you keep doing it over and over, atleast from the one in the desert. The bots are screwing it up for every legit player cause its becoming very laggy in certain places.

Ok, thanks for the replys everyone, im gald that the only real way iv found of making money is safe. BTW, from my spot i make about 1.2k in 5 mins, is that gd for 5 mins work?

yes, 1.2 for 5 min is very good, at that rate, in a little over 12 hours you'ld have all the gold you need for a set of shiverpeak 15k armor. You could do it, 1 hour a day for 2 weeks (so you don't get super bored) and go get your armor.

only one ive found so far thats a reasonable distance from town is a barell outside of divinity coast that frequently pops gold/purple items... course, at that stage in the game its only mid level stuff... nice for salvage/sale though.

divinity coast was just the most "farmable" barell/chest i had found yet. thanks for the PM's gonna try that later today. just farmed the divinity coast barrel for about 5 minutes while waiting on food and got 2 golds, 4 purples and some miscellany... which is good cause after getting some shiverpeak armor for my warrior and lions gate armor for my upcoming monk... i was getting a bit low on basic crafting stuff

Oh, i no that one, my chest take much less time to get to, but i rarely gives purple, and iv never had gold.

Well I cant seem to find the one outside of divnity coast. Can someone point me in the direction it? I did find one though when you exit temple of ages. Its a barrel with a good 3 weapon drop. Only farmed it 2 times so far and got a blue item.

Where are your chests guys? Man, I want to know! It's not like it ruins something.

My friend found 4 chests in the shiverpeakers, all next to each other, then gave 4 gold items.

People, you need to post a screenshot of a map ingame, showing where you are. That is alot easier.

I think people dont want to disclose exact location so they dont get nerfed, but if anyone wants to share locations, i dont mind.

Where is YOUR location? I actually have one of my own, but it isn't that great as 1.2k every 5 minutes.

Ill post the location of mine in a min. Though most people know it, its a real money getter. Thats also where alot of bots are at too.

You should be carefull farming somewhere with lots of bots, you may get mixed with people using bots, not something that you want to happen.

I dont do it 100 times in a row. I do some, then go somewhere else for awhile and come back.

Fair enough then. Does anyones spots get good gold or purple items, I really want to find a nice bow, mine isnt really that good, if you no a spot you dont have to tell me here, you can PM ingame.
