Okay ... I admit I got frustrated and quit mapping for a few months.. I'm back and have found 1.3% to raise me up to 98.4% Here is my map.. any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello. I'm currently at 95.7% (a bit low I know), but I was wondering if you could help me out. I know I don't have any of dunes of despair and I was wondering if there was a quick and easy way to get that southern part of that mission, possibly with heroes. Thanks, appreciate it.

First, your map is the wrong resolution. See the first post for rules and resolution requirements.
Second, mapping Dunes of Despair is easy but not quick.
You will need Necro primary or secondary and Necrotic Transversal on your skill bar.
Fight all the way to the Enemy Ghost but do not engage him. Run past him to the south gate, if you're lucky you will aggro a scarab on the other side. If not, try using a flatbow to pull the boss to you. If neither work, walk the wall east and west to aggro a scarab. If still nothing, start over.
Once you have killed something on the other side use NT to get to the other side. Now slowly work your way to the east gate so you can flag your heros/henchman to the Enemy Ghost so they will kill him. The Ghostly Hero will not follow them, he should still be at the location you used NT.
After your heros/henchman have killed the Enemy Ghost, unflag them and wait for them to rejoin you on the other side. Now you have unlimited time to map the area and complete the bonus.
I've done this 4 times and as recently as this week, so I know it works.

Still a major pain, this mission - I find I have to re-do it many times to get a scarab to spawn. Or get lucky with the right boss in the right place (even rarer).

I've been reading through this thread to help me on my own quest for the explorer title. Just reached 98% yesterday. There are one question that I hope someone can answer. There is an area north of Henge of Denravi that I can't get to. Is that one of the PvP arenas that was moved?

I have a question for anyone who might know. I had my map looked at and on it was circed an area in Dragon's Gullet. The area circled is due north of the right tar pit. From what I can tell it looks like ther has to a glitch to get back there. IS that true? I ahve wall walked for ten minutes and nothing uncovered. Thanks for the help

I'll try hosting some maps this afternoon.
I would advise you to rather try using 1280x1024 maps instead. Your detail level is MUCH higher and thus it makes finding spots a lot easier.

hi. ive just re started mapping again, and im over by yaks bend, im comparing my map and it says theres a bit just above yaks bend, above the area part, ive mapped the arean, but i cant get this top part of the arean, the actual playing part its self., do i need this part or is there a way to get at it. ive gone round out side in the exporable but so far have failed to get it

You can get into the staging grounds of the arena, but you can't map the actual arena anymore. (Was changes quite a while ago) You do NOT need the arenas to get 100% of your map.

also how do u get into the bottom left corner of dunes of despair, the bridge is always up, and how do u get to the bit south of the frost gate i got onto ruriks path but couldnt get into the caves, any tips
