All right, public domain on the US gov trademark and patent website: Guild Wars NightFall. Chapter 3?? Only other ones registered are Guild Wars and Guild Wars Factions. (No I am not a sleuth and found this on my own, a user sent it in to me). Interesting name, just wanted to share it all with you

might be an elven story.
Gaile said before about a 'fountain'. It could be anything, but theoretically, using the 'fountain' as a clue, we all know the Elven race are into beautiful architecture related to nature and all that. A 'beautiful fountain' could be the clue.
But of course more likely, it won't be playable just like the Dwarves

I belive the 3rd Guild Wars chapter is Guild Wars: Dungeons and Miners, or something like that, it appeared on Guildwiki a while ago, so I cannot remember the correct name, but it was something like that.

Guild Wars: Nightfall, eh? Well, the name fits nicely but I cannot see a connection as yet.
One of the things I'm surprised about is that, unlike in Tyria for Cantha, there is no link anywhere to whatever/wherever this North African continent is. Maybe they will add something in updates closer to the release.

I remember reading that not all new expansions will include new professions, so the number of skills doesnt inflate too badly. However, as metioned in the article there WILL be 2 new professions in Chap 3...was very excited to hear this as i thought anet would make every other expansion include new classes.....GJ ANET

I can't make a connection between "Nightfall" and a North African theme. Of course, it's probably based on the story and not the setting.

i mean, we knew the name was goign to be factions, right, but untill they anounced it, did we know it was going to have a china type feel?
nightfall can be as ambiguous or as significant as you want...
so t means that when Night Falls, things get harder...
it means when the darktime approches, the Nightfall of the Gods is at hand...
or that the new continent is on the nightfall edge of the ap, so more areas are in darkness for longer times (ie, like greenland and antarctica)
and or all of the above *might* be what they mean...
but untill they actually come right out and *say* what the next chapter is going to be, theres no way of knowing wheter or not they simply wanted to get the name to belong to them *Right Now* rather than have to fight for it later....
*so, it might be Guildwars chapter 6 Nightfall rather than chap3 you know*

PvE characters start at level 20 with 30 random skills for each profession, all bags and 10k gold.
The "pre-sear" area is merely a farmyard of low level bosses that drop the green weapons you are likely to use for the rest of the game.
There are only 4 co-op missions but they are at the end of an instance so it's a 1 hour 30 minute fight just to start them.
Oh and the elite area is only available to the first person to finish the chapter and the top 2 people on his friends list.

If you've ever spent any time in Africa, doing the whole safari thing you'll know just how fast night falls! One minute you're watching a beautiful blood red sunset and then before you know it it's totally pitch black, and I mean really pitch black. It's like someone just flicked a switch and turned off everything but the stars.

Maybe this chapter situates little bit south-east of Crystal Desert. Hmm, I wonder if there's little hints about C3 in Factions. There was quite obvious hints in Prophecies about Factions.

I'm liking the name and the theme. The desert in Prophecies is still my favourite area in the game. The statues and stuff were so cool.
