I tried this solo, back-to-back with Falaharn, and it took forever to even get close to a solo attempt, then when I was ready, Sunreach killed me very quickly.

Locust Lord only runs if you lure him too far. The limit seems to be the pillar north of his island. He's never fled from me if i went any closer.

I should start collecting sapphires and rubies since they are completely useless. There were speculators before Factions came out, but I think I'll start now while the price is still lowerish.
I've been trying to do the Jayne solo in order to do another confirmation, and admittedly still need a little work on my pull as I havent yet succeeded. I've been running Fossa's build but I think I just need to die a couple dozen more times till I figure it out

Its definatly possible to solo Sunreach but it would require a really hard pull. You can avoid fighting everything there except the first Dragon Moss and Kirin group. Past them you can time it so that you run in and shoot Sunreach's mob with a longbow and they'll come running out. Technically you cant seperate him from his mob, but you can, with a very tricky pull, pull him all the way up and around the corner so that he gets stuck on the wall while trying to run back.

Anyone have a vid of Strongroot? I've been able to kill him a few tiems, but on rare occasions he wins the fight by too much, and i am overrun by his group, or the afflicted and plants simply wont fight. Never got the shelter though, gotta keep trying.

the answers to all of your questions and MANY more are ^^ upwards and backwards within this thread. Simple answer though, I've never EVER used + energy for Chkkr Locust lord, hes you whipping post, your dog, ok you get the idea. Use ANY staff (blood recharge mod is helpful for faster recharge of offering of blood) but even the trapper staff from act1 in prophecies works. basically you touch down to 28 energy, use offering, touch away while using offering EVERY time it recharges unless it will kill you. Touching to 0 energy is not a good idea, you are safe behind your stances, if you are running low on energy only touch with one of your touch skills untill Oob recharges. Are you at 16 expertise? this is critical for your energy management. If at any time your target takes damage from another mob the chances deecrease substantially for you to get the drop unless you wait untill he is FULLY healed and starting over.

Consequently, I may be banned shortly, but that doesn't really matter to me because I am disgusted, and I will be leaving this board and not returning. For those into gory details, the thread that pissed me off is here, or it will be until it gets deleted.
I wish you aspiring and experienced touchers the best.
I think this has been a very useful and good thread, and I suggest that one of the experienced touchers starts a new thread, cut-and-paste quoting the first post to get all of the linking information, and becomes the thread's new owner, modifying it as new thumbnail guides or information becomes available. It takes some work to do it, but I won't be doing it.

A few days ago while getting a run around Kurzick/Luxon territory on my ele i left to go Harvest Temple. Ran upto the Luxon gatekeeper... talked to him and he let me in. Admittadly i did have Befriending the Luxons done by this point, but as far as i know it makes no difference.

every four seconds, you would be hit by banish for 116 anyway, weather you interrupted it or not, it wouldnt matter.

Oh well, it won't make a difference anyway. Getting 10k Luxon faction will take about an hour if you just take a trip to Fort Aspenwood over the weekend.

I went to kill the monk boss on the other side of him and he tears you to shreds just running past! 44 x 2 damage Stone Daggers and a Shockwave doing well over 200. He might be possible as a normal ranger though R/Me. Using Elemental Resistance and Melandrus Arrows, shouldn't be too hard to hit his Stone Daggers with a distracting shot... he spams it a ton. If not... cower behind the wall and heal up

I've tried it. The problem is that he comes along w/ two carp and a scuttle fish. You certainly want to interrupt his Banish and Balth's, but the scuttle fish is also casting Balth's and the Carp aren't sitting there watching. So at some point you'll be standing in Balth's, bleeding, and getting wanded by Keysay and the scuttle. Even with a lot of energy you can't keep it up forever and eventually Keysay's Banish/Balth's will recharge.
I figure even for a dual team it would be tough. Though my plan of attack would be to take out the scuttle while the other touchie distracts that damn Banish from Keysay. The carp are just annoyances after that and should be removed by the toucher that takes out the scuttle. Then dual team old Keysay.

I've killed Stonewrath with a R/Me. It's pretty simple... you use running skills to get through that mob of wardens. Then kill the necro boss with Empathy + Backfire. Then Stonewrath by hiding so his stone daggers never hit you. Just using Backfire + Shatter Enchantment you can kill him. He's got huge HP too... around 2k as far as I can tell since he can cast through backfire like 8 times and only be 1/4-1/3 down on health.
I'll post a pic when I dig up the thread. It was from about a week or two after Factions was released.

Not sure if anyone's used this before or thought of it, but I've gone through quite a few bosses using Life Siphon to help keep up with health loss during stance downtimes. Provided, you need the spare 10e, but it's till managable. I've torn through Jacqui the Reaver using it quite a few times, about 20+ at this point. Only problem is he never drops his Aegis. Doh!

Will NOT work, KaySey will use her Banish every 10 seconds, and it casts in half a second, SO you would have to use savage or distracting shot BEFORE she casted it, nearly impossable.
