Does everything that ANet introduces FOR FREE into this game need to have new greens or UBAR DROPZ associated with it? I mean, don't players still do quests and missions for fun anymore?
Not to mention, did just about everyone miss the part at the end that talks about transporting the party to the "next mission"? Could it be possible that there's a bug in the mission preventing us from playing the whole thing? Nah, never....ANet just tries to kill all of the fun of playing the game by introducing a new mission and giving us "lame" rewards. <insert rolling eyes smiley here> I'm sure I'll be flamed by more than one user here due to my opinion, but that will just add to the hilarity. So flame away if you like! -Tom |

I remember also a hoax around an IDS, that ANet later implemented in the game to make it real.
But I have doubts they would do this on an Event.

Worthwhile rewards for doing stuff is what makes RPG games fun.
Them not being in place is what makes RPG games unfun.

It's crap, plain and simple. If you're looking for challenge...do ToPK with 4 people. It's the same thing, except you also get a reward. Note that a reward is not necessary all the time, but there has to be SOMETHING to justify doing this quest. It doesn't even advance a story, because it's endlessly repeatable. At this moment, 50 orbs are worthless, plain and simple. You only need 10 extra after doing the 4 quests, and it's really bloody easy to get those 10.
Furthermore, people who don't frequent forums are going to be even more ticked off at this, becuase it's so much harder than the other quests...yet gives a worse and arguably worthless reward. People will feel like they've in effect wasted an hour (or more, depending on how many times they failed) of game time.
This is an undefendable screw up. There is absolutely no redeeming quality to this "mission". I'm normally one to attack excess negativity, but in this case, y'all need to get your heads out of your (or ANet's) collective asses and see that this was a mistake, unless the entire community is missing something, OR ANet manages to correct it later on by adding something else that ties in with it.

So I guess there were no greens there.

PS: I have access to it, and I never completed Hanju Lagoon. So I wouldn't expect a completion bonus.
If there is, and ArenaNet seriously screwed up the presentation.

Navaros I also disagree with you, what makes RPG's fun to me, is bashing things head in, that may just be becuase I am sadistic but that is beyond the point, also I like MMOs for being able to play a game with other people, being an only child and not being allowed ot have friends over. Of course this is all a matter of opinion. Also about the tyria thing I am planning on taking my sin through there, not for the rewards but for the fun of killing stuff, I also think that I might be able to just about rape glint with a skill bar with a 6-7 hit combo with my sin.

OH GET OFF THE ORB ISSUE PEOPLE. 50 IS FINE! TAKE IT FOR WHAT IT IS...
This is a friendly preview for NIGHTFALL. I think Anet was great for doing this.. I enjoyed the mission 50 ORBS or not. Others have enjoyed it too. Be satisfied you beat it where others could not.
TO You who beat the mission... you are 1337 for it.
GOOD FOR YOU!...

Really crappy, Now I feel how people feel when they cant get to the Deep themselves or something.
Level 3 henchmen.
4 people max.
Reallllly limits your options for a group..After the first 10 minutes the only groups going are " LF TANK/MONK/NUKER/TRAPPER/COOKIECUT"
Its impossible for anyone to get into a group unless they are 1/5 things!
On top of this, the first mission only lasted like 2 hours!!
