I see alot of "stop whinning noob" post, but not many "here's what you need to do"
How about a little build advice? What skills should a tank bring? How should a monk keep up with both the high damage and status? Other that archane echo and SS what else should a necro use?

Rez, I Will Survive, Dolyak Signet, Watch Yourself, Gladiators Defense [E], Bonetti's Defense, and any 2 others you want.
You just run up and aggro the enemies while spamming dolyak and watch yourself. Glads Defense will help do some damage and use I Will Survive when the grasps put cripple, blind, and deep wound on you to get +9 regen for a few seconds. You will probably be very low on energy due to Banished Dream Riders or Scythes of Chaos energy surging the crap out of you, so use Bonetti's to get some energy for recasting I Will Survive and Glads.
This is probably not an uber tank build for this area, but it gets the job done fairly well. I also only have +1 on Strength and Tactics because I used minor runes and have yet to craft a +1 helm for either of those attributes. So having a helm and maybe 2 majors would work better.
After typing this up, I was thinking that maybe a W/Me build with Illusionary Weaponry might also work fairly well since being blinded doesnt affect IW (AFAIK). So maybe I'll toy around with that later tonight.....

Anyone else still getting the Haiju Lagoon version of this mission? I finished it last night with a PUG; then when I woke up this morning everyone was saying it had been changed to Jaya Bluffs. When I finally got a chance to log on this afternoon it was still taking me to Haiju Lagoon and it has stayed that way. I haven't actually tried partnering with another group today... don't know if that would change anything.

anyways i was looking around the place to heavens gate and u cant get in. there is a drop off a cliff, but i looked closely and saw a cave and i that is how u get down there, but i dont know where the enterence to the cave is =(

Have any teams beaten both Bluffs and Lagoon yet? I'm wondering if maybe we get something special for beating all of the missions (whether that is these two, or these two plus any future ones they unveil today or tomorrow).
My friend and I duo'ed Bluffs (with henchies taking up the remaining spots, can see pix and skills at http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3068916) and since people here are saying it is harder than Lagoon we can probably duo Lagoon as well but it will likely take us a few hours. It really drained my partner to do Bluffs so I'm hoping to give him some incentive to duo the Lagoon with me.
Anyone know?

lol al, no a good whammo is nothing compared to a truely mastered sin, a sin is a four man spiker team, in one, trust me, if you had seen me or a couple of the guys at the sin board in actiaon you would agree.

If you look at GuildWiki, they apparently have timed it to be every 4 hours that they switch. Seems to make sense, seeing how the first time it changed was 4 hours after it apeared.

I'm 99% sure nothing will happen as a result of completing the missions. ATM, there is no indicator that you have completed them. If they did give a reward, it would be in a horrible presentation...

I was on a few teams that tried this mission and as a beta vet..I am extremely disappointed in how rediculously difficult this mission is. 4 man party limit size agaisnt level 24-18 monsters? Come on! This is complete and utter BS. At least allow the teams to be 6 people. Not good Anet..not good.

I still think it will be worthwhile to work on these missing Zing, just git r done and it hopefully will pay off in the end, and ehy, if it doesn't atleast you got to sluaghter some annoying grasps, I swear those things are worse than trolls.. oh and Zing did ya talk to Gyph or anyone yet about BkBd?

im glad that i only did the mini mission solo (died) after that i checked the sites and it said that the prize was 50 and so i skipped it and i also heard the prize is the same for both mini missions. And no i havent seen a Protector of Emporer title

Protector of the Emperor would be the easiest title ever, only 2 things need to be done, no further tiers. Easy points for Kinda Big Deal... Hence this title is very likely a fake. We just have to live with the satisfaction that we have beaten both missions, we probably dont get a nice reward whatsoever.
