The Biggest Jerk You Ever Encountered in GW (no posting names)

I generally avoid PvP like the plague because I dislike fotm crap where alot of things have to be robotic and you have to fight a certain way, with a certain build, or you get owned....and people in PvP can be the biggest assholes ever. Plus I learned from the little PvP I did in SWG that having some cheapo lameass kill you and then go "Lolz u got pwned newb homo" makes me seriously wish homicide was legal.

But anyways, one day I said, to hell with it, and so I went into the D'Alessio seaboard arena (which you curiously enter from LA). I was level 16 at the time, which I thought was reasonable for the area (I didn't know how fubar pve arenas were) and I ended up getting into a group with ALL level 20's. Did about 10 fights, won like 6 out of the 10, and figured "cool, I'll come back when I'm lv 20, this isn't so bad".

So I came back at level 20 and the Arena, and on my first fight, we lose, and I hear this:

Jerk: Wtf you suck noob, get the hell outta here and stop screwing us up.

Me: Uhh, this is LITERALLY the 11th time I have pvped in my LIFE on any game, sorry if I'm not up to snuff.

Jerk: Then go start a pve character and learn how to play, stop noobin it up and ruining it for us.

Me: This is a pvp character..................I didn't know pve arenas made me fight pvp people.

Jerk: Whatever noobcake, stay out of the arena and learn how to play.

And thus I made the decision to never touch pvp ever again.

The biggest jerk I've ever met: A male necro in green FoW armor... can't remember the name, but he was attempting to form a UW group. I asked if he could use a necro/mesmer in his party, to which he replied "ROLFLMGDAO look at me!" - you can figure out the acronym. Either way I replied "You wasted all that gold on that armor? It looks HORRID!" He then sat down and proceeded to continue recruiting with the announcement "Forming elite UW group. Don't even message me if you don't know what a banished dream rider is."

Needless to say, that's when I decided that Necro FoW armor wasn't worth pursuing. I don't think I've ever met anyone else so full of themselves in GW. I'm glad my riches lie out here, in the real world, as opposed to in-game, while its player rots in front of a PC...

Jerk: I got one, 30k
Me: ok
Jerk: ----insert "Family Sigil"

I'm sorry, but if you quit pvp because of one jerk, I would have to say you have a very weak will.

I was in a group doing Villinary of Galrath. 2 of the guys, one a monk and one a warrior are in the same guild. Somehow, an arguement starts right by the tower (ie the end of the quest). They intentionally stops healing and fighting and charge forward and draw in huge aggros to hit us and they both die. I also die because I'm a elementalist who had been using that one warrior to protect me. When he stoped, I was a spellcaster quickly aggroed with 15 guys. They say something to the effect off "See without us your whole team dies." They then promptly quit. Other monk reses me and five minutes later we beat the mission.

I met one warrior yesterday in arena.

He packed survival and running skills solely. No attack skills whatsoever. He waited out until all his teamates died and started running.

What kinda of person has this kinda sick way of playing the game..taking joy out of wasting people's time. Hope he grows up somehow..

I just had a guy call me a "fashion faggot that needs real gear" becuase I brought an eternal shield to random arena.

every last asshat clown who brings droks/elites to the noob (ascalon,shiverpeak) arenas, has had the same things to say when I make it clear how heterosexually challenged I think it is to do such things.

"youre just jealous because you cant" (as if they know me, and the fact that I've been around forever and can afford pretty much anything)

"youre just jealous cause i'm a better player" (yes, with a completely uneven playing field YOU ROCK)

"Well, anet doesnt stop me from doing it, so it cant be wrong". (yes because what you CAN do is whats right.)

"everyone else is doing it" (yes, and if everyone else was walking around with a sign on thier face that read; "insert penis here" you'd do it to)

"geez its just a game" (which to me is odd, because of how far out of thier way they went to ensure they won that "just a game".)

heh i've had plenty of 'jerk' stories (do a search for 'em :P) but my recent one was on the first day back after a few months of not playing.

Me and my bf decide to continue the story, and we get together to do the infusion mission. Two friends of ours join, and we pick up a group of 4 other random people. Before we go, we mention that we need infusing, and are we going to run it or fight it? Group decides on running. At this point, please note my bf is the party leader and when advertising we stated we needed infusing.

So we head out. An Ele that we'd picked up then, instead of taking a side turn, runs straight for a group and aggros them right at us. Fair enough we think, we'll try to take them out. Except theres a couple of mursaat, so down we go, our 2 friends and the 4 pickups. Back to outpost.

We get back to town. One pick up player: Bah this sucks (3 of them leave). The other one, the ele (who might i add, I'd been wary of anyway, since her last name was "Biatch"... yeah, shows a mature player... hmmm) then told us:

"You're not infused, leave the group, we're doing the bonus *much swearing*".
Boyfriend: "Well its our group, so YOU leave" *player kicked*

Gotta love when people tell you to leave your OWN party that THEY joined.

Anyhoo, the biggest jerk I ever met was named Frost X. A monk.
This was wayyyyyyyyyyy back when Bond wasn't nerfed and
seed wasn't utter crap and I actually went into UW with other people.
Before we went in we designated who was healing and who was protecting.
I was designated healer, since I had everything in that skill branch unlocked, and he was protector.

Before the entrance he told me to read him my skills bar.

'H party, WoH, Dwayna's Kiss, Orison, Seed, H Area, Restore Life, Rebirth'

Ass: Taht sucks. Heel party is teh wurst monk skill tehre is. 15 mana, is shit.
Me: Yeah, 15 mana to heal everyone in party for 84 points. I agree, total
crap.
Ass: Well if u no tehn why r u taking?
Me: Wow, sarcasam is wasted on you.
Ass: STFU.
Me: Whatever, I heal how I choose and you protect.
Ass: Ditch rebirth and take protective bond.
Me: Isn't that a protection spell?
Ass: Ys.
Me: Then why don't you take it?
Ass: I am just stfu and take it.
(Group getting impatient to leave)
Me: Fine, whatever. *Takes Bond*
(Arrival in UW)
Ass: k now bond both warrs and me.
Me: Why am I bonding you?

Ahh rofl, if you only knew me you'd not say I had a weak will. In fact I have never really had a taste for pvp, my encounter made me realize that I really don't like it, AND there are assholes. If that means I have a weak will so be it then.

Oh, right, ingame asshole... Hmm. The biggest is probably the wammo who ran up to my female monk while she was sitting on the ground selecting skills, /sit on her, and started messaging about how "i shit on u".

Although that may be being more 'retarded' than 'asshole'.

I remember a guy spamming in a district. By his inflection he seemed to have gotten lost and wandered there from a Counterstrike server.

Personally, I can't stand leeches.

If I see one solitary green dot at the rez point I usually announce, "Sry folks, I can't stand leeches. If that guy is leeching back there I'm quitting and starting over. Y'all are welcome to join up in district 1. If he doesn't show up in 30 seconds I'm outta here."

It's a good threat since I'm usually the monk of the group. Half the time the guy "miraculously" comes back and says, "sry I had to get something." (yeah, right)

I'll have to disagree with you. The biggest jerks in the game are the ones who call anyone who disagrees with them noob or gay or starts insulting someone's mother. Sexuality and our mothers have nothing to do with anything and need to be left out of your insults.
