My jerk story happened just yesterday. I was in LA when someone says "Selling 25 weapon upgrades for 15k" I whispered him and asked if I could see. He shows me a bunch of crap such as fire bow strings, 10/6 sundering, 10/8 furious, etc. I said "No thanks." He traded me again and showed me more of the same. I said "No thanks, this stuff is garbage." He then went nuts saying things such as:
Okay you don't have to be f*cking rude
You're a f*cking @sshole
You rude people are the reason this game sucks
etc. etc.

I responded by saying, "Sorry for being rude."
Player Jerk is ignoring you...

Here's my best jerk story.
A week or so ago, I was in Hell's Precise.I found a team to join.
A guy starts saying to me(Im a E/Me)"Hey Flame,Do u hava AoE spell called
MS and E?!?"
Me:What does that mean?
Jerk:WTF iz your problem?!?You got tis far w/o noing wat means?
Me:I have seen many skills starting w/ those letters
Jerk:ya kno wat?i F***ed your mom last night
Me:WTF is your problem?
Jerk:your momma didnt tteach ya wat tis means?
Me:Just tell me what it means
Jerk:STFU N00B WTF FAGOT GO PLAY W/ YOUR DILDO!!!

Point missed, his point was that calling something gay as a result of bad actions isn't logical. Actually, being used to the term gay to call something bad, I guess I've grown used to it. But heterosexually challenged? That's kind of like saying all homosexuals are immoral. Which is absurd.

I meet most of my jerks in the fissure. They do everything from cursing unabashedly to quitting on purpose to making our team die to leeching.. Stupid stuff.

What has bothered me lately is when people join a guild and start asking for money imediatly, within the first hour. Im used to the usual flamers and griefers from years of FPS, but the beggers bother me in a new way.

Yeah my policy with those kinds of people is to say that we don't do that. That we will donate, but not until some sort of trust is established. If they complain I do indeed give them something. The boot.

Heh, if beggars bother you that much you cannot possibly have played RPG's very much online. Beggers have been around since day one... much easier for me to ignore them than the ones who do everything to avoid lvl playing field and then want to talk about how awesome they are.

I've had a guy call me every cuss word in the book because I had to go back and get a seed for the bridge on one of those jungle missions, even after I told him to grab one when we were there. I reported him, sure wish they'd tell me if he got banned over it.

That's nothing. I had someone in D'Alessio Seaboard ask me for an invite
and instantly told (not asked, TOLD) me I was gonna run her mesmer to
Citadel, Give her 60k AND materials (And Damask ain't cheap) to buy 15k

I doubt that person was serious about it though...I mean who asks for ~85k anyway?
Most beggars I've seen ask for a few materials or few hundred gold.
The best I've seen was someone in Ascalon asking for 5 black dyes:

"Could someone please give me 30k or 5 black dyes? I'm really poor and just want black clothes"
Now if it was something cheaper I'd give it to that person just for asking in a humorous manner.
But generally, I don't give anything to beggars.

I HATE beggers in-game & IRL. The ones in-game bother me even more than the ones IRL. At least the beggars IRL have a flimsy excuse...Life is hard. The ones in-game have no excuse because GW is not hard. In-game beggars are nothing more than ppl to lazy to play the game to get thier gold. Ppl that give to beggars only encourage begging. DON'T GIVE TO BEGGARS!!
