I only farmed for 3 of them myself(the axes) using my pvp slot.
working on getting a 2nd 20%
but no one is selling since theres more than enough buyers.

this will deffinatly help with the Dou UW and Solo'n other things.

Got 4 now, think that'll be enough. Anyone tried to put in 2 +30 Health mods, since I'm curious it'll stack too.

I had a 20% enchant grip in storage and had just made two new chars.. ( getting two of these axes..) ONe Id already made into a 52 hp axe and sold my Hod sword... my lil lvl 13 monk just got a 38% enchant axe to match his hp axe.. life is good..

( FYI it does work...)

Im debating on making another char using my pvp slot and making another enchanter axe. but 20% enchant grips are crazy expensive now.. I was askin in LA and one guy claimed to have a c/o of 100k with a b/o of 100k +9 ecto..

for a 20% enchant grip.....

Has someone done hard testing to absolutely verify this? I see in the early posts people saying it works, but has anyone done time tests to verify?

Also, this axe is really easy for anyone to get it's not like someone can't get one in 30 minutes with little hassle. I started this game late enough to miss out on what the HoD sword was all about. I'm not missing out this time that's for sure.

I think the same about the HoD Sword/Axe and the Rockmolder, they weren't imbalanced, though, they will be impossible to get, regardless of how rich you are, that makes the game imbalanced, making it impossible to get something only when you were there at the right time.

incorrect

ive made both the hp axe and the uber enchant axe off the old ascalon quest.. it does work ... rather well actually..

my hp axe is 52 and my enchant axe is 38% with the hp axe adding a 27 hp grip to it and it kept the hp mod that was on it prior to me applying the hp grip..

the enchant was done with TWO grips one 20% one 18% both where applied directly after eachother...

I have heard once you stick two grips on adding a third grip will destroy the two you applied.. ..so be sure its what you want..

you can make an +55 max axe easily just put an +30 hp grip on the axe making an +60 Might be possible but will probabaly require some work and testing by someone to see if its possible

right now on the axes the first grip replaces the charslaying grip the second grip replaces the +25 fortitude grip but if you try replacing a grip a when both grips are of the same type you end up replacing both grips with just one grip.

if you tried applying 2 30 HP grips right off the 2nd grip will get rid of the 25 Hp grip and the 1st 30 HP grip you applied. (turning a +55hp axe into a normal +30 axe)

Depending on how the grips are applied on the axe it might be POSIBLE to get a +60 HP Axe.
(My guess would be something like this apply a junk mod on the axe to get rid of the charslaying mod, apply a different type of Junk Mod to the axe to get rid of the 25 Hp Fortitude mod then try applying the two mods depending on which grip the 4th or 5th grip replaces it might be possible)

It might be possible, but if anyone tries this, don't try it with +30HP mods, that would be a waste if it fails Don't feel like trying atm, I don't feel like losing money

@eom, why incorrect?

well, let me use an exaggerated illustration ---- what if, instead of this weapon, the reward was a sword that did 400-1000 damage and made you immune to all hexes and conditions?

do you think that still wouldn't be unbalancing?
everybody would have access to it.

Nooooo..unless you have quite a few junk axe grips and axes to spare.

This is what happened to me when I tried putting a armor+5 grip to that axe which already is armor +9 (arm+4 & armor+5): it becomes armor+5 !!! so you can only apply two grips with one time for each! If you do it again, one grip mod will be replaced, and the other one will disappear for good. So be very careful what you put on, as you can only do it one time for each grip.

Yep, I think it still wouldn't be unbalacing, though, that would just completly mess up the game, since everyone would be forced to play a Warrior with that sword. This is indeed a great item, but this doesn't make any class useless, so why should we mind?

150K..? Holy shit!

Anyway.. OrangeArrow is right, it should be possible through that way. So cool, this item is better then both the HoD Sword AND the HoD Axe, unless you actually use them to fight.

I just made a 38% enchant axe, and test it out with my monk. Yes, it works on healing breeze and soj. Also, you can use axe for cyclone axe to boost adrenline, definitely better than sword.
