yeah, GW pvp is great, but i wouldnt try high level pvp until youv played PvE for a few months and know the skills and interface.

the tusks are the big money also you can get alot of wood if you salvage the raven staffs. 1 run takes me about 1 minute and nets at least 1k....

monk, but i would just use mending touch. mabye buy a secondary headgear (+4 myst) and spam RoF on yourself.
