Also check the PvX wiki for builds, their database is probably the one most up to date.

Have you checked if the Gw.dat file is set to read only? Also, what is the size of the .dat file on you hard drive?

Maybe the .dat file is set to read only or something of the sort. If so, then the client can't download the necessary data to the .dat file.
