It wasn't a GM. Those people wouldn't pay you for the keys/accounts anyways, they'd just scam you.

How did you get scammed anyway? There's a trade box so you can see what's going on.
I usually randomly go to Ascalon or Kamadan and yell "helping newer players" and get pm's. I find a new player and teach them loads...
