Is crystalline sword better than any other sword drops?

Its like Half Life 2 (im sure almost everyone here brought that game) you get either the CD or DVD but you actually have to go online and download...

Giving out free stuff to your guildmates is easy, but giving out free stuff in town (like i did yesterday) seem to be non-existen.
