On the official website! And there is a FAQ section. Apparently current account holders don't need the key to access this event.

Don't complain just yet. There is no official word on how many slots we will have with GW: Factions.

Yes, Geile has said the key is universal, I think that means they will give only ONE key to everyone in the world, so nobody is left behind.
