Hero means builds that heroes themselves can effectively use (they spam skills, are godly with interrupts, etc...) so youll see things like power...
Also, for a general idea of what it does: It creates a setting file that the .exe partially loads off of, and activates (1) what mods you have...
Just for the record, this also works with weapons / shields if they're customized to your friend as well

Check and uncheck the "Use 3D Audio Hardware" Checkbox. I've found that works for me, probably won't considering you took the time...
