I was going to get WoW first, but the $15 a month was a turn off. I saw GW on x-play and got it because it was free and had pretty graphics.
You'll be fine, just dont leech in pvp :P
I havent done carto yet and don't plan on it. I'd rather JQ/FA/AB 100x million times for kurz/lux then map <.< Vanquishing...
Pretty much most the people I played w/ leaving and no new content. Although pvp is still fun sometimes, but otherwise its meh.

I doubt anet will remove XTH, maybe make zkeys cost more tourny points, but not totally remove it.
