Nobody has mentioned Aegis.... Even as a pure Healing Monk, I always found a place on my spell bar for that

You just need somebody with Diversion and spam it at the Monk Boss... works in PUG and Hench mode

Tanking in the middle requires discipline otherwise it all goes to pot. Tanking at the entrance to the arena is easier

Check the other thread. Ive completed it 3 times, twice with hero/henchies and once in PUG. The PUG was by far the hardest. We capped all shrines...
