no clue why your having the problem,but i wouldnt use gwx2. Three friends of mine used it,and all 3 of them got hacked,im not sure if it was...

its-VERY- rare to get them,but they drop from most every thing related to elements/margonites/any thing in uw/fow/doa/hard mode bosses
