Because when you farm in normal mode or hard mode, enemies scatter if you're at full HP. I use mine with a devotion shield while perma'ing...

Odd. What's your harddrive in it? If you have a slow (5400RPM) harddrive, it will cause that exact kind of loading you're experiencing....

That's rather odd. Check your router, do you have port forwarding set up on it? Also, could your firewall be acting up? Try disabling that.
