I just got owned by 4 of these guys in TA. That 640 holy dmg hit every 8 seconds was really f*ed up.
The balth form is not needed. It allows you to move faster and gives more armor. You are still subject to condtions and hexs making everything...
If you like this skill you should look at Balth Rage. At 14 myst it deals 96 aoe holy dmg and heals you pretty big when it ends. 5 second recharge...
