getting to level 20 is all part of training. from here you finish campaigns, switch to HM and have fun, do pvp, do elite dungeons

i would suggest removing runes and equipment just to play it safe

/not signed take it off, its taking up pixel space on mine and my hero party box

need to be at least R1 of the faction you wanna buy your skills from (Lux in this case), you can buy jade/scrolls, etc to raise your luxon rank...

its probably just a bug. remember ANet is not known to fully test whatever they decide to implement in game

hit F11, go under control its a pain, but there is a basic keybind setup there apparently they only have controls for hero 1-3 skills, for heros...

all my heroes were already fully geared since i like to cycle through them anyways
