It's probably a glitch. The Elonas Reach mission is glitched as well. For now the needed crystals aren't there.

Got my new greens, and ecto is dropping like a stone. My goal of 5 stacks before chapter 2 release is a lot closer already.

I'll preorder one copy, and if it's worth it, buy CE editions for my other two accounts.
