im not sure. until recently i only used normal kits on those things and i only ended with crafting materials. now i have bought an expert kit and...
use a salvage kit on it (expert kit has a better chance than normal one to give you the rune) and if you're lucky you will have that rune that...
what you must do at the swamp part is dont go into the swamp, but stay on the hills just before that and fight from there and then pull what mobs...
