I always do C + right alt + space, selects the closest target.. then calls the target and you can then attack it with space if you want.
That's of course a great idea, yet it shouldn't be too cheap to change either.
They should really make a system compared to what they have in Knight Online, I have of course beta tested a lot of games in the past few years....
