well, unfortunately, your problem is "your computer sucks, especially on vista". there's nothing you can do about it.

you have to use bootcamp and dual boot windows xp/vista to play GW on a mac. at least, it will give you the best results.

with max settings, AAx4 and AF16, my computer can maintain 60fps anywhere. the lowest i've seen it is 90FPS, in kamadan at peak hours. maximum...

the only thing i see is the driver date: try a newer driver from ngohq.com or guru3d.com. you're using vista 32bit, so those drivers will work.

is it just me, or does that computer's graphic card use passive cooling?

anything that's better than a radeon HD2600PRO and a geforce 8600GT will be more than sufficient to run GW.

your "800W" powersupply can apparently only put out a combined 30A on the 12V rail. if anything else, pick a better power supply. that...

um... rahja? the 9800GT is basically exactly the same as the 8800GT. i think you mean the 9800GTX. in that case, the HD4850 is the better buy in...
