It depends on what you are talking about PvE (where there are lands of all elements) or PvP, which varies depending on the flavor of the month...

actually Iron Mines are much easier now since you get all of your armor infused in one run now, so most people dont leave half way through it anymore.

from what I have heard it doesnt matter, absorbsion runes are global so it protects you no matter where you put it.
