Famine doest not cause smites to lose energy, SV does that. Any half-decent SS will carry SV/AV too. Try smite hex with no energy. Both are good...

To Arielle: combining groups doesnt work post-nerf, 1 grp at a time, which means 3-5 smites. Hope this helps.
