I hope none of my 6 characters has been changed drastically. As i recalled, last time it only affected the rangers? This time, it seem that mostly female characters are affected by this update. Anyone has male characters with messed up pixels?

My female ele with 15k luxon armor seems to be missing her earrings after the update. Anyone know why/how to fix it?

Ignore the skin colour, that's just the lighting. I'm more concerned about my character's mouth going from a sneer of half-contempt to a dumb toothy grin :s (yes, both statements are a bit of an exaggeration)
As for Skullcrasher's post, I have to disagree.. when I built my character, I wanted her to look how I wanted her to look, y'know? I'm pretty sure we all know it's just a game and "just a bunch of pixels", however I can't help but get attached to the character I've been using for 14 months.

....ANet has nerfed all of my character's armor. I had 3 characters with non-starter armor (15k druid, scar pattern, and Kurzick) and they've all been replaced with starter armor....

I don't have a "before" pic, but her upper lip area is now a mess. In other lighting, she's also got a gray streak runing down the right side of her face. In yet another lighting situation, she's got gray triangles at the corners of her eyes & mouth.

I also noticed in character creation that some tyrian necromancer female had their mouth open. Gives them a strange look...

Now I made deeper investigation:
First two images are taken at Shing Jea Monastery and it looks "very similar" to your picture. Areas below eyes and beside lips are totally messed up
. On third image my mesmer was in my Guild Hall - all seems ok here. Last image is from my inventory screen - there is something weird with eyes/above them - some additional "dark pixels" 
It seems that all these flaws are caused by inproper lightning of face model.. too deep shadows in some areas of face. And it's not visible everywhere - just in some cities/areas/outposts of the game...

My ele looked stupid before the update, and I'd hoped for a face changer at some point, but now she NEEDS one. I can't stand looking at her anymore.

If I turn her away from the lighting source, it's bearable. Unfortunately eles don't have masks, so it's not like I can put a bag over her head. Enhanced, toothy mouth gape is not attractive, and coupled with a moustache, it's downright horrifying. She's my second oldest character, and I'm not remaking her. If the moustache persists, I'll stop playing her very much at all. Someone please help her! *sobs*

This is more than a fresh coat of paint and art upgrade in this case. Many people spend a lot of time picking just the right look for their characters. There are other docile options on the face selection screen, and not made by choice.

(the lighting isn't quite as effective here at showing it but my pale ele looks rather tired now as the eyes seem to be a different colour from the skin. )

Horseman Of War, I have an open-mouthed Rit too. I don't play her much but my feeling is her mouth changed too, not in such a drastic way as my mes' or Female Terrorist's ele's. I don't have a 'before' pic tho so I can't compare them.

!!You wouldnt imagine how much time I used choosing her height, skin, hair and face.
That was 14 months ago and im still happy with her and not bored of her looks,even if she changed a bit

I have said for a long time that many faces offered in Prophecies, and even many in Factions, indeed look pretty poor, limiting available character creation options. Itd be nice to see some additional ones added. Itd also be nice to have a few great looking ones in addition to the several with truly odd facial expressions (to my own eye anyway).
This doesnt mean going in and re-designing the faces we have chosen carefully for characters we have spent hundreds, some thousands, of hours on. We chose them for a reason. Subjective yes, but we liked them, and grew to like them. Some may like one face or another better, but changing an original face to something else, even if you think those changes minor, changes the original character choice. Anet cant do that without giving us then the ability to make a new face choice.
Better yet, change them back. There is no way I am creating characters over from scratch and a couple of the faces I truly liked have changed into something I do not at all.
Anet has to reconsider this. Add more facial options for new character creation. Great. I might make a new one. Add the ability perhaps to make a one-time change of facial choice if you are intent on changing them however. Changing existing faces please no one and is more disastrous than the grumbling about the interface changes. We all chose faces we liked when we looked at them for the first time. Now the majority of mine I like less - granted a couple better - but that is not the point.
Truly perplexed at this "logical" business choice. What is not good for the existing players with existing chracters is not a good business choice.

TW (ele) got the makeup treatment, which looks wierd on her freakishly pale skin.
Anna (mesmer) seems to have a wierd line on one side of her mouth, and her face seems... taller somehow.
Hinata (ranger) and Kurenai (necro) appear to be unchanged...

Thankfully I have several other characters, and all were either improved slightly or there was no noticeable change. Well, except for my ranger. Poor girl looks like she got into big sisters blush and lipstick. At least her I can put a mask on.
My ele though. So many jokes, it must be even worse than I thought. I don't know if Feminist Terrorist can ever show her face in public again.
